I felt inspired by the female Astolfo posted here a few days ago, decided make some alt versions myself.This is my attempt to reproduce it using the catbox. As you can see the style is close but not actually quite the same, the skin looked softer in anon's gen.At first, I was getting downright bad results in fact, despite matching loras by hash, checking every single one and all the settings.Then I noticed that although the model is called "ponyDiffusionV6XL_v6" the hash is "438a0f371b" which is not correct for civitai's pony version, nor is there a model with that hash anywhere on the internet that I could find.I switched to autismmix, and suddenly got a gen much closer to his (*this* gen is pic related), I decided that was fine although I liked the softer skin in anon's style better.I thought I'd post this since it's interesting and odd. I'm pretty happy with how higher base model resolution helps tremendously with her red criss-cross sleeve attachments. Getting those to not be a jumbled mess was a crapshoot on 1.5.We've come pretty far from embeds>1.5 loras> XL loras. It required higher denoise to completely denoise the artifacts introduced in latent upscale which caused a complete breakdown of the composition.This is mainly why people shifted to img2img based tile upscaler for bigger upscales because upscaling in pixel space resulted in a clean latent before being fed into the sampler for img2img.

Having to find/model the outfits and rig them to the model can take an hour if you're really fast, but with SD you can just type in a new outfit or hairstyle and get a result within seconds. There are also lots of things that we take for granted. Skindentation, for example, doesn't have a common generalized algorithm to apply it to any piece of clothing so stockings just kind of sit on top of the character in almost every game/scene that's not a hand-crafted blender shot. Clothes half-off requires manual sculpting. Facial expression require a complex rig. Static 3d renders will soon be entirely irrelevant. I said for years that real time stuff like VAM and Koikatsu will completely replace daz studio. There soon won't be a need for 30 minute 3D renders when AI gives you close to or better results in seconds
