Given the mental state of Rei, it was assumed that Oboro would be killed if Rei would die, as he waited in the ruins of Koukawa Village in a self destructive battle with Asuka. Asuka was able to fight him thanks to a short powerup form, she obtained thanks to fragments left over from Kichi Azusa, which proved useful against Ares. Merriam was also very involved, as she noticed her own magic being used by Ares, thinking she could unlock her full power if she helped out. The Downtown Detective Agency would confront Belphegor, which performed an operation on Oboro, placing a magical stone near her heart, which would explode if Rei died. The group was able to force him to flee and Merriam was able to remove the the magical object. Meanwhile, Asuka continued to fight defeating more Resurrection units and Zaqqum demons, as she got word from Kuro that Oboro had been rescued she put all her knowledge to use, and defeated Ares, regardless of his new form.So the murasaki siblings got some love this chapter, Task force G’s commander in chief is dead, and expect Merriam to be the center of this year’s Halloween event with her “true magic”

I haven't been lurking here long, so this may be general knowledge already, but in my autistic efforts to clean up DeepL's translations, I found out that the RPGX Viewer's scripts are really, really easy to manipulate.Mostly, I've been using this to add additional sound effects to scenes. Once you use the autotranslation tool to create a translation for the scene, you just open the translated script in Notepad, and for any dialogue box you want to add a sound effect to, add a line above <NAME_PLATE> or <VOICE_PLAY> and enter <SE_PLAY>[filename] The file name does not include the suffix here, and the viewer seems to only search for .ogg sound filesIn other words, to add a footsteps sound effect (se082.ogg) to a frame, do this:<PAUSE><SE_PLAY>se082<VOICE_PLAY>[voice file]<NAME_PLATE>[Character Name]scene text<PAUSE>The file must be located in the RPGX viewer's SE folder (RPGX 5th/data/audio/se), and as far as I can tell, it must be in .ogg format. If you try to script multiple sound effects for one frame, it will only play the last one in the script for that frame. If there isn't a voice line already, you can layer one additional sound effect by adding a <VOICE_PLAY> command under the <SE_Play> command, but you will have to add a copy of that sound file to that scene's individual "voices" folder, and both sound effects will play simultaneously.The big limitation here is that the game's sound library is pretty threadbare, with very few actually sexual sound effects. However, I found that you can add .ogg sound effects from other sources (e.g. other eroge, especially RPGMaker and Renpy ones), and the Viewer will play them no problem. I've only had seen it refuse to play one OGG file, and I'm pretty sure that was due to a corrupted file conversion. If you want the RPGx viewer to work with TABA scenes then you need to make a new folder called "TABAScenes" in the RPGX viewer directory and then drag all the TABA scenes into that folder.
