I'm doing a BDRip of Kuroinu Kedakaki Seijo wa Hakudaku ni Somaru and the subs I have vary between calling this guy "Bolt," "Volt," and "Vault." Any idea which one is right?MAL says it's Volt.

Normally, a small character following a normal one indicates a longer, drawn out vowel. However, for sounds without dedicated characters, I don't believe that's the case. If it were meant as 'Vault,' I think it would be spelled more like ヴォールト or ヴァールト to indicate that longer vowel sound. Thus, my best guess is that it's Volt. I would like to hear input from someone more fluent, though.

Plus, itazura can mean pranks, naughtiness, or even outright sexual (mis)conduct, so I find 'naughty' to be a good middle ground that sort of fits the range of meanings.Essentially, I've been leaning more towards 'localization' than 'direct translation' lately, as I think it makes for a more enjoyable read. When there's wordplay or idioms involved, I usually try to make it work in English somehow, which can eat a lot of time as I mull over the options. I can't say I'm always successful, though.
