If you set up a birdfeeder in your garden and you make the habit of leaving seeds in it, the birds will come and they will feed and they will nest nearby and multiply and spread all over your town.

If you make the habit of leaving cat food in your porch, the stray cats will come and they will feed and they will nest nearby and multiply and spread all over your town.

That same way, if you set up an idol and you make the habit of leaving candles and incense and bread and drinks in it and you offer prayers and worship to it, the wicked spirits will come and they will feed and they nest nearby and multiply and spread all over your town.

Idol worshippers are the only reason why the world is full of demons and wicked spirits who will fill the land with wickedness and violence and cause pain and suffering and corrupt the hearts and mind of people with evil. If you were to kill every single idol worshipper in a country and destroy all their idols and shrines and altars, all the demons and wicked spirits would starve and die out and peace would return to the land.

If the rest then turned to God and lived righteously and dealt with fairness and kindness with each other and worshipped the Most High, then the holy spirits and the angels of God would be the ones who would feel comfortable visiting the land and dwelling among the children of men. And they would come bearing gifts of blessings and wisdom and knowledge of the Most High. The land would be blessed by God and the world would heal, the work of everyone's hands would prosper, the soil would become fertile and the heavens would give rain in their proper time, crops would yield fruit in abundance and evil and wickedness would disappear. Sickness and diseases would be no more, people would live in joy and happiness and nobody would starve or be in need or suffer.
