If you had to choose what civilization to live in solely based on their cuisine, where would you choose and why?

>>18297724It doesn't matter because I would just be forced to eat the worst food and every civilization has some kind of "bad food", the obvious answer is modern america/canada but I already live in canada and am forced to eat the worse food available because they think I shouldn't be allowed to eat anything they think "a medieval peasant" wouldn't have including things they did have in abundance like salt.

The intent was more to consider whatever civilizations' cuisines in general, irrespective of (what I assume is) your own social status. And even then most civilizations' commoners had good, hearty food to eat.
