I'll just be posting little comics here for a while. No real order, rhyme or reason for the most part.Trying to get at least one done every other day till I'm out of ideas.
Part 1
Part 2
>>831106Adorable girl! You know that duck is stealing panty shot peaks.
>>831115Someone is hereBut the duck is a girl
>>831116The duck is a lesbian. Kidding aside, did you draw that fresh just now based on my comment? That's really fast.
>>831117lol these don't take long to make but I'm not that fast. Just serendipitous that it was the one I forgot to post
Would Willa be a good candidate for this OCT?>>>/ic/7893494
Now do a comic where Willa gets hypnotized to do unspeakable acts.
>>831120I've never done crab before. I'll check it out>>831121The woods are full of unspeakable acts. She will do things, just maybe not exactly what you want.
Willa is young girl who wandered into the woods. She met a duck...who she named Mother Goose.Willa & Mother Goose are now on a journey. She isn't in Kansas anymore.Yes, this is vague for now.
>>831123She looks different here. Is this an older drawing? I like the shape of the face more in the op.
>>831124Truth is, I'm just not that talented. This was my first iteration. Hard to be consistent.I'll see if I can make her face rounder when I do future non mspaint detailed drawings.I don't use much reference, so there is a lot of variation
>>831125>Truth is, I'm just not that talented. Poppycock and hogwash, you're quite good at drawing. Artists are their own worst critic.
>>831109That suprised duck face has meme potential
>>831116Imagine if she forgot to wear her panties.
>>831147Lol
>tall skinny glasses preteenReminds me of Pepper Ann. Infact, have you ever drawn her? Sounds like she would be right up your alley.
>>831145No rules against imagining.>>831149I freaking love Pepper Ann. Great VA too. It didn't consciously come into my brain when making this though.I should draw her though, in a different thread
>>831150>I should draw her though, in a different threadOn the cartoon board there is a namefag who is obsessed with pa, he's also a decent artist too. I admire his delightful autism, he draws so much of her. He also knows all pa lore concerning her origins. Sadly the thread he just had up died. He lives for other artists to draw her. >>>/co/153311781
>>831151Oh wow. I've never posted on /co/ before, and I don't want to start since I've seen that drama spill into /ic/ but I will check out the thread, thanks! I'll probably post her on either of these art boards.
>>831153I don't visit /ic/ often so I am unaware of any cross board drama. But try not to judge the negative actions of a few for representing an entire board, as you might deny yourself some positive experiences. I would advise to avoid the main draw thread there and stick to series/character focused threads only.If you happen to draw her I'll keep an eye out and post it over there if I happen to see a pa thread (unless you don't want that). May I ask what thread(s) you are on, on /ic?/
>>831122You should. Anyone can join, no matter the art skills. It'll be a good opportunity to show off your talent.
willa wonka and the goblin factory
>>831155I checked the thread out, and yeah he's really good at drawing her. While I think my art is probably a good fit there, I'll probably still just post here instead.
>>831160>and yeah he's really good at drawing her.Yup, on top of being a fenatic, he manages to draw one of the most on model PA's I've ever seen, he really captures the style. You can find plenty of his threads if you search his name and 'op post' in Desuarchive in the /co/ area. He also likes the British cartoon Penny Crayon, which also features a slim, glasses wearing lead.>I'll probably still just post here insteadAs you wish. Why is the girl tormenting these pikmin like creatures?
>>831161Yeah it's like he could have drawn for the show. Its good, and he doesn't seem to fetishize like some others in the thread. >Why is the girl tormenting these pikmin like creatures? She's just carving initials into a tree, and they happened to be inside said tree. It's hard to give context with 4 panels sometimes.
>>831162>She's just carving initials into a tree, and they happened to be inside said tree.Oohhh, I see it now, kek. I think if it was in color I would have clued in faster that the tree was the main setting.
Kidnapped
>>831170Looks like she's a goner.
>>831171Better to go out laughing
>>831174Yes, but her captor is having the last laugh.
Working on another comic, but I drew Pepper Ann. I got no where else to post her
>>831272As the kids would say back then, radical. She is missing her skirt pattern, dem circles.
>>831106Comic idea: Willa succumbing to hunger and attempts to cook Mother Goose.
>>831304Crap>>831307Good idea
Mother gooseMother gooseQuackin in her own paradeMother gooseShe's like one in a million
Fanart submission
>>831345Not the artist, but nice animation.
>>831307>>831345Highly inappropriate Very cute
>>831353Plot twist, Mother Goose after nipping her gets a taste for human flesh.
>>831361>last panelOh come on, overreaction, they don't need to him him into takoyaki. He just wanted friends.
>>831362*make
>>831361I'm entertained, this is what I've come for.
>>831362
Willa-ver's Travels
>>831367But where is Waldo?
>>831372Dont ask questions you dont want the answers to
>>831431I'm starting to think that Willa belongs in the woods for a reason.
>>831431How is that girl so strong?
>>831433Improvise.Adapt.Overcome.>>831438"Goblins' numbers are their only strength. Only an amateur leader would divide them."
>>831463I don't know, the average goblin shouldn't be overpowered by some little girl. It's kind of hot though.
>>831466Fair enough. I guess I could have drawn the Duck covered in blood to show she did it.She does get overpowered by larger goblins in the 11th comic I posted
>>831467I thought that was an orc. Whatever, keep the good work.
>>831463She was blinded by science.
Morel-ity
>>831561Sorry I don't get it. Were they cacti?
>>831564Morels
>>831565Oooh, okay, I had to google that. I am not educated in fungi.
reuploadGnomes at Home
>>831574>That belly windowYou're a man of culture creating high quality art.
>>831575Nice teasing. I question whoever made that shower though, with a hole in the door (and a very small door at that).
>>831578He was expecting a grown woman because her vag would be visible from the window and her tits from the top.
>>831583This is now canon. It's an adult size shower, repurposed.>>831578I just picked a hole in the door because those outhouses have moon holes in them.
>>831561Shouldn't they be getting high from consuming those fungi?
>>831578>>831584those camping showers have really small doors
>>831585Those were fun guys, not fungi. And I have them getting messed up from shrooms in an upcoming one
>>831586What the fuck, those need more wood to box them in for privacy.
20th episode Special!Character Arcs
>>831605Head-cannon: Day 5 is where Willa & Mother Goose first met.
>>831605Day 10 onwards is all her delusions.
Getting a "Beneath the Trees Where Nobody Sees" vibe from Willa and these comics.
>>831628Where teddy bears have their picnics?
Shamed
>>831653Those hags envy her youthful flatness.
>>831653The duck is very protective. Why is Willa running away though last panel? She seemed fine before stripping.
>>831657See comment above
>>831660Oh because of panel two. I see.
Don't do rugsI mean drugs
>>831718Fucking nasty lol.
It's golden week! Better put Willa in a golden bikini.
>>831834It ended.
>>831834>>831835It's wasnt familiar with "golden week", but I learned about it posting in >>>/vg/>66054976I'll do something gold for her
Crap I forgot how to crosspost
>>831839>>>/vg/660549763 arrows and the board name followed by post number
>>831841Oh kek either that post is gone or wrong number or missing digits.
>>831842I missed a digit...>>>/vg/566054976
Golden Week(ish)
>>831854I'm grabbing my lockpicking it.In this case, wouldn't it have been a bit better to just do a larger third panel instead of sticking to the standard four? Same goes for strip 14 which would have been presented as one large picture.
>>831860I'd argue at least half of these comics (including the ones I'm working on now) would benefit from more/different panels, and text. But I'm in too deep, and Im too stubborn to change from the handicap I've set for myself.I have been contemplating doing a one shot though, or longer format and not a 1pixel brush. We will see. I've got alot of irons in the fire
>>831865
>>831865>But I'm in too deep, and Im too stubborn to change from the handicap I've set for myself.Haha, boy, do I ever know this feel. It sucks to fight against your own brain. There is an appeal to both ever changing panels and keeping it simple with the same ones, forcing you to work within the four walls you've created.I think for panel three, it would make more sense for her pupils to be inward (cross-eyed) since she is trying to focus on the insect, right?
>>831868I'd give you a prize for that reference if I could. Nicely played
>>831869>I think for panel three, it would make more sense for her pupils to be inward (cross-eyed) since she is trying to focus on the insect, right? Not quite what I was going for. She's dazed, hence the drooling mouth, because I was kinda going for those parasitic butterflys. Hence the skull, and his proboscis going in between her eyes. And his nutsack.
>>831871Ooooh, I see. Sorry. Sometimes I have trouble deciphering what's happening. That might be a tiny problem that you need to fix, as a comic should be straightforward to understand without the author needing to explain it.However, I won't put it past myself that I am a dumbass, and possibly everyone else got it 'cept for me. Sometimes I feel like I have visual dyslexia. While I know you are keeping it simple with the style, there are times where I think color would help tell things apart. However if you want to keep it back and white, perhaps some shading/screentones/crosshatching/a few extra lines here and there might help convey settings, textures and face expressions.
>>831876>deciphering what's happeningYeah, I'm going to work on making things more clear. Color might not be a bad idea. That's not a huge change in the format
This one goes out to the one I've left behind
>>831896What? Are cows extinct in this abstract forest?
>>831896I chuckled cause Michael Stipe is a vegetarian (last I checked).
>>831901No, she was lighting cow farts earlier. But a cow alone, does not a burger make.>>831902I didn't know this. I'll make sure not to send him this comic. Last thing I need is Stipe on my case again
Post bellum
Are we gonna get a prequel comic, showing how Willa got lost in the forest?
>>831922Funny you say that, I have it storyboarded already.I was just deciding if I make it a one shot manga style, or keep it 4koma (with text)
The Pepper Ann poster on /co/ has been made aware of your fanart. He said>…noiceHe is a man of few words, but I know he appreciates it.
>>831272..i like it
>>831957He's here...
>>831957>>831954Thank you. I actually liked drawing her, and had another sketched lined up which I'll probably finish next week. I'll probably post it on this boards cartoon threadIf you're the guy who linked >>831151your stuff looks like you could have animated for the show. Really picture perfect
>>831964He's got a thread up right now>>>/co/153598986Sometimes he's the only one bumping then and they die off. Sometimes he gets lucky and a few of his threads take off past 300 posts and last a week.
>>831854You are a hateful woman. You oppose me to the very end. But I shall forgive you. Some things are beautiful because they cannot be obtained.
Willa meets a wild Chad(?)
>>832080Minotaurs have feelings too ya know (or what you call those creatures). I bet he was the nicest guy!
>>832080I like to think he got to see them for at least a moment.
>>832084wouldnt he have a boner then?
Magic Beans
>>832086He will have it later, remembering the moment
>>831973oh ye; see that you do
>>832101I never posted on /co/ but Ill give you a bump
