Has anyone else here realized that no matter how many tablets, iPads, and digital drawing programs you use, you'll never be able to match the aesthetic that only traditional drawing can achieve?

This is mostly true but Sailor Moon is trash and I hate coomer bait.
>>
>>7726162
I drew digitally from 2011-2022. When AI was released I switched to traditional and never looked back
>>
>>7726162
yeah trad is easy mode for appealing aesthetics, the medium does most of the hard work for you
>>
>>7726162
Mostly because people usually approach digital like retard cavemen and don't go any deeper than default brush settings.
>>
>>7726162
Add to that the value of being irreproducible, each traditional work is unique, something that is impossible in the digital realm.
>>
>>7726162
I fucking hate digital. always fucking hated it. pencil is god
>>
>>7726198
we have NFTs now boomer
>>
people keep saying that they switched to trad but /trad/ is dead as fuck
why are there so many traditional larpers?
>>
>>7726162
I have, but I don't mind. I'm drawing on a tablet with a stylus and a matte screen protector, which helps give it more of a paper feel, and I use effects and brushes that also help with the traditional look. It's similar to how I don't own a CRT, as owning one just for retro video games is not too convenient, so I prefer using CRT shaders. It's not ideal, but still decent.

No, an NFT doesn't prevent an image from being copied; it only certifies ownership of a copy of that image, which is recorded on a blockchain. While the token itself can't be copied, the associated image file can be downloaded and copied by anyone.

idiot.

Are there still idiots betting on the NFT scam? Shit.

the shadow shapes and grouping, they are not grouped correctly and the don't help the anatomy or clothing and they actually hurt the drawing, they don't make sense, they would usually be considered horrible design choices, but in this case they are actually purely just random and made up, these types of things would be conscious design choices and engineered by a real artist, but the a.i. doesn't understand this concept or decision making process and only copies, it does a great job at copying and pretending, but similar to a beg who doesn't understand this design process or doesn't understand how to make these types of design choices, its just pretending and fakes it.

The discrepancy between drawing and hatching is waaay too big, Pajeet.
A similar drawing by a human, without the typical ai nonsence would be 4-5 out of 10.
The hatching is 1/10. The direction of the hatching makes no sense whatsoever...
Sorry Pajeet, we will have to wait 2 weeks longer, i guess.
>>
>>7726326
>>7726325
What's weird is that despite all the nonsense, it still 'works', unlike what a /beg/ would do. I saw everything you pointed out and I agree entirely, but if I'm not in 'drawing analysis' mode and I glance over it, it registers well as a whole even though the details fall apart upon close inspection. But I've never seen a /beg/ pull that off.

I've really gotta look into this linear algebra stuff and try to understand this 'latent space' stuff.
>>
>>7726162
with pencil there is no buffer between your movements and the pencil making a mark, so you have 100% control. On tablet, when you move your hand, there's all sorts of calculations and conversions going on to approximate your velocity and pressure, so its not even really drawing, its more like sending a request to a server and hoping it gives you the line you want. Its like rolling a gatcha. And that's ON TOP of the tablet screen being more slippery than greased ice with no feedback or texture.

Couldn't this just be someone who doesn't know lighting well? It's just a a sketch
>>
>>7727104
to someone who doesnt understand the how to group values, i might just look like a sketch, but the choices made in the so called sketch and the shadow shapes are literally random and make no sense, they arnt even pretending to make sense or even a copy of good art, they are just random
>>7727101
np
>>7726952
its literally a.i. outside of the stuff i even listed
>>
>>7726325
Now, I'm not sure of how to identify AI

But the sure sign of nodraw larp is thinking that people 'engineer' their art. People draw random shit all the time.
>>
>>7727110
>are literally random and make no sense
Could just be a /beg/. It's not like he's making money from these sketches so I don't see why people would want to fake AI sketches like these

Reflection != highlight

>>7727163
You'd just be a retard.
>>
>>7727170
Highlights are literally just reflections.
>>
>>7727174
Highlights are a specific type of reflection and they never appear in shadows for the extremely obvious fact of what a highlight is even a reflection of.
This is very basic information.

all this nigga does is trace AI gens
before he started "drawing" all he did was post AI gens and was jerking off about how good AI art was becoming
the few times where he does actually post like an actual scribble that isn't an obvious AI trace, it lands in the early-/beg/ trashcan
>>
>>7727605
those arent scanning artifacts smallbrain
