It's a shame there isn't more modern fine art depicting violence like Steve Huston's paintings. I guess not enough artists are high-test, so everyone just defaults to calm and static subject matter.

I should probably have a picrel, but you all likely have an example in mind.But agree with the lack of 'masculine' or highly active moments in painting, most work tends to be very still in comparison to your picture.
