How the FUCK do I draw these as forms and not "distorting the lineart so it appears to be at a different angle when I haven't drawn any sense or hint of dimension just surface-level copying of the lineart
drawing 2D shapes pretending to be 3D forms and not 3D forms
the drawing's epidermis

I can see that mine from imagination have mistakes, the problem is I seem unable to learn from those mistakes.
Instead I keep making them over and over again no matter what (namely flatness and oversized noses and mouths)
>learn proportions
You can see on the images that I have the Da Vinci chin, nose and keystone third-lines.
On the very top one you can also see the lip corners-eye middle and nostril lateral side-eye medial corner lines as well (which do appear to curve going by page 17 of Morpho's "Face, Head, and Neck" book.
>Why Morpho
It is the only fucking book series to go into FAT, which is what actually makes up the forms you see on the body
>Then why are you doing the head
You have to do Simplified Forms before you can do fat (Anatomy for the Artist doesn't hurt either)
However, the heads in Simplified Forms are grotesque aliens with zero expression. Most of the heads in FaceHeadNeck are too, but there ARE heads that aren't.
More importantly, it deconstructs the head. And that's what you need to be able to view these fucking heads as more than just 2D shapes pretending to be 3D forms

morpho heads are ugly as hell. not sure why anyone would see those and want to copy them.
>>
>>7728263
why would someone want to do ecorche you don't wanna look at women and just see fat and muscle moving around
>>
>>7728262
don't copy morpho faces, they're ugly as fuck

The ugly Morpho faces are kino and I'm tired of pretending they're not. Them and the faces from the "Framed" series are ugly-interesting, like the Aeon Flux cartoon.

you need to study perspective and how forms look in different positions because its clear you dont know and its painfully showing
you're not even following your centerline and the circle base you used is useless, your forms should hang off of the cranium, it just looks like a floating circle the way you have it

What would you recommend for someone who constructs like this
Like specifically for drawing things in different positions from imagination
I'd do cartoon characters but that's why I'm doing Morpho in the first place
To get a handle on what the simplified forms represent

framed ink, framed perspective, etc
here's a page from framed drawing techniques

very true. limiting yourself to drawing conventionally attractive faces can get a little boring and repetitive, there's such a wealth of expression to be found in "ugly" faces

you're on the right track but you stopped following the centerline when you included the chin, draw your guidelines first then construct while keeping the centerline in mind
scott robertsons how to draw would help you, do a couple of pages of those mirrored shapes, work on mirroring just 2d shapes then 3d, dynamic sketching/drawabox also helps to develop sensitivity to form

Morpho is the biggest scam. the person who makes these books is not even an artist, look at their work its all garbage. its like taking swimming lessons from someone who can barely dog paddle
