How to animate realistically in general? spacing and timing...maybe considering the character's body, limb, legs number, weigh etcespecially loops, cycles, or doing one of those sakuga things
Raise your fundamental drawing skills first
>>7753405How?
>>7753402use video reference
motorpen huh? i am sakugaking now
>>7753405>DrawingThat is that. How about spacing itself? It came in different bullet points. Pages too. A whole field on it's ow- ow! Did they draw for opensim? Or unity? You even trace over it.>>7753474Who? What? I hated it. Kinda weak of a program.>Also>>7753461Ohohoho uh, st,s,s, stop motion. Is that how you say it, in blonde? Like, fake american?
>>7753514all your questions are answered in this bookhttps://archive.org/details/TheAnimatorsSurvivalKitRichardWilliamsit's highly recommended from every pro animator
>>7753518...fuck I had this book. But I, recall it not being, fancy.... Or procedural. Also a lot of sideview animation. Also it's like he's in the past. Or maybe not, anyway, I don't think, there's a page there that explains realism... Other than for, Christmas ghost? Carol? Christmas carol? Yea .... You know, very limited.
>>7753525procedural? the principals apply to realism, just draw it more realistic...
>>7753528...I don't see how. So many Roger rabbit inside it. The whole thing is Roger rabbit.
>>7753530sure. but you asked about timing and spacing, no matter your style, you would use this. check these pages https://archive.org/details/TheAnimatorsSurvivalKitRichardWilliams/page/n41/mode/2up
>>7753536...that's a ball. The body isn't a ball. Eve in principals. You need to be real quick cuz this is just too creative of a problem-solving in many cases, from tracing, videos, and suddenly just, this.
>>7753541a ball that represents anything moving...I'm afraid the technical aspects of animation might be beyond you. just animate directly and be free.
>>7753544>Technical aspectMy ass, you haven't explained shit since your duckplane went to southeast Asia.>Ball represent limbsNice wording but this will be smarter if you can add maybe like, half a page of note on top of his book, filled with "technical aspect">Be freeHow did that work out with Richard huhOk wait, that's not a thing either.
>>7753544P.s. you just need to impress me. Like a goddamn sakuga montage and, sensible, working explanation that, kills it.This shouldn't be 300 page diary of working with a fisherman.
animate directly is just drawing frame after frame without a concrete pose you are aiming for. you just feel the motion.
>>7753555>you just need to le feel the motionno one asked talentrat
>>7753556anon said "that's not a thing" so...
>>7753555>FeelI did with >>7753402Kinda trippy. The more you know, the better though, isn't it.>>7753556????>>7753557...um, yeah. Not then, not now
>>7753561>Kinda trippy. The more you know, the better though, isn't it.yes. know more by animating more things. observe them, time them, you get a feel for how far to move lines from frame to frame. check pro animations frame by frame. https://www.sakugabooru.com/post/show/247978
>>7753567That seems dull and tracing. Basically wrong, undynamic, pure numbskull move, with no basis in reality.
>>7753628>tracing>no basis in realitypick one retard.
Howie, why are you bothering the animation chads? They have lots of frames to draw. That can't be wasting time be with you
there's a limit on what you can animate without enough observation / drawing skillwalks and runs can greatly differ depending on the person
>>7753402Accept that human perception is flawed and embrace the further abstraction that transcends what the minds eye percieves as realistic rather than reality by itselfwhen you know that animation is for decieving the human perception you will know the true way
>>7753653What? You only copy what it is. Than knowing what it is.You retard.>>7753708They just trace it, they say>>7753721Yea what to observe then when you trace.I think you being scientific should serve it's purpose.>>7753878Then my scribbles would have worked from minute one. To me at least.
>>7754140keep observing. If you're lucky, you'll see the errors in your thinking.
I feel like magicians or experts in sleight of hand would unironically be good at animation and timing considering they have a good understanding of how the human brain processes visual data
>>7754140> would have worked from minute one. To me at least.funny thing about that is the human mind is designed to be unable to perceive its own action on itself as pleasurable (an adaption i assume was necessary to keep the species from going extinct from grugs all gooning instead of impregnating foids)if you've ever tried to tickle yourself or gotten a hand-job instead of masterbating you'd know what i meanhence why artists are known for being so harsh on themselvesan objective reading of your own work is impossibleaccept that often you will *have* to take it in good faith that your animation looks good to someone even if you personally don't quite get the big deal
>>7754165If I'm lucky? What , you actually not use AI? Don't be a pissass. You only trace the simulation too. Maybe you really don't know anything so please, describe the error in comparison to...whatever you can grasp from my question really .>>7754177Could be but they end up playing cards and then everyone else does their animation through histerical and surreal complaints of theirs. Which, kina works out so...leaving everyone into bones. And me to my... Whatever eyes left . Damn, scalpels. Well why else the sun hurts even the... Silvery zinc wind- chicken rooster, thunderbreaker... Whatever.
>>7754243>Unable ...I clearly overdid asking here, and not a single shame. The other one though. Also you(you) curses so much you begun to think you are honest. Or correct.>Hand>MasterWtf,dude>Harsh on theWell, each to its own, and I just need what I need. You are not, commi, don't, use classifications.Or maybe you are, I mean he still has his hair.>It may look goodWell, you know your favorite quotes, from, japonaise studio experience, as a blonde, or black:haffang! Desu! Yu a not gonna job get dis Wang aniwee eresu. Desk!Right? Oh shit that was ww2...point 5.I mean that still not English isn't it. Although well... A good definition, I suppose. Fo..hm, I dunno
>>7754245>Maybe you really don't know anything so please, describe the error in comparison to...whatever you can grasp from my question really .>Which, kina works out so...leaving everyone into bones. And me to my... Whatever eyes left . Damn, scalpels. Well why else the sun hurts even the... Silvery zinc wind- chicken rooster, thunderbreaker... Whatever.I can't grasp shit bro
>>7754261Well. Why haven't you said so. Shouldn't you got priorities Elsewhere. Get a life or whatever. Touch sky? Get eaten?
>>7754270It's for those that come after
>>7753402
>>7754292Ewwwww. The loop seems correct. The entire pose too. Any tip how you, space, pose then. Maybe in mathematically precise solution
>>7754300It takes four frames from one frame with an outstretched limb to the other frame with the other limb extended. The head, torso and hips should move only slightly up and down, while the legs should move in small movements at the hips and knees.Focus on the movement of the toes and heels.Move the shoulders back and forth horizontally and swing the elbows. The more you swing your arms from the elbows down, the more powerful it will appear.Adding one frame of tiny movement to the frame with an outstretched limb will make the movement appear more precise. The shoulders and legs should move in tandem, but moving the arms slightly later will make the movement more natural.
op sounds like he doesnt think before he speaks. what the fuck is this word salad im reading?
P sure I posted sumin?>>7754514>Richard William tier thinkingI don't see how this all translate to correct ness in 3d space unless reference attached. A "tandem" can call for anything and "powerful" sure calls for a particular timing and spacing.Your input appreciated but it passed the 300 word max essay(or formulation) you are supposed to adhere. Also I'm in the procedural section of the books and you call me retard by this showcase, disregard all elements of the situation. SoPlease do not make noises in the library just because of differences in idea. Or age. In such situation it levies only you and little me but perhaps it is what you are trained and boy, is that Ms paint you used to explain how sakuga or realism works? It's cruel than crude.>>7754537Your bud at the arab graffiti design firm thinks thinking is lame and then became AD. I m trying to compromise considering how you giggle fucks operate here, it's tame in comparison.
ok, now that you know a bit more, lets see your next animation attempt OP
>>7754593...nu uh. It's too bloody confusing. Confused.
>>7754514
>>7754731It seems to suffer the same problem like mine. If I am entirely biased or being done with I d say," yeah cool!"
>>7755000the lowest head height frame is duplicated, with the arm flick, and it throws off the movement. it's like he's striking a pose rather than reacting to physics.
>>7755017...are you the anon? Well you are straight forward. And this has no mathematical thoughts attached to it.
Are any of you people closely scrutinizing reference footage before making your walk cycles...?
>>7755173I don't. I don't use em altgt
>>7755347Then do it retard
>>7755359Moron fuckface, if I wash my hands because it smells like the food five mins ago I ate, you as the inspector of anti finger suckling foundation training can still sue me for having soap and betraying the academy of smelling and handling can't you?>In shortIt's just not good, and you as the master of tracing clearly have not enough employment to come here and showcasehow leisurely useless your works are don't cha?
