Reposting this here because of no responses in last thread:
I'm almost done with this painting there are just a few things that need to be sorted out before the final push.
My main concern is with how busy it is around the bottom. Specifically with the net and the fish. I really want it to be there but I can't help but feel like it's too much, or it needs to be tweaked in some way... but then again I'm not sure. If I want to change it, it'll take a long time so I don't want to change it if it can be avoided.
The seaweed is probably going to be minimized in some way, that's a pretty easy fix, but I just want a second opinion on the netting and fish. Is it too noisy? Is it ok as is?

It doesn't seem too noisy except for the unfinished looking seaweed. But it feels a bit off how perfectly framed and encapsulated the subject is, I think. There isn't much to push you to imagine a world beyond the edges of the image.

Three parts are out of place with each other, the legs, the torso, and the legs.
The legs fit well with the rocks, the torso doesn't seem to connect properly with how the hips are positioned (which can be inferred by the position of the legs).
The shoulders, you maybe wanted to convey her leaning with her right as support, you just placed the left shoulder slightly lower, it doesn't convey the weight distribution of the pose; the bust just looks like she's sitting at a table, it's just straight vertical.

Drew this today. I hate it. Tried bristol paper and its obviously very bad for coloring pencils. no contrast, no pigment nothing. Went in with ink to try and get some black but it ended up looking stupid. By the time i gor to the rocks i gave up. Another day another fail, whatever.

Probably could use a more interesting pose gesture for the figure but that would probably be a lot of extra effort for a character concept
