They probably even out about the same. The thing about mangakas, especially popular ones, is that they have to focus on getting stuff out for deadlines, especially if it's weekly chapters. Monthly might allow for a tiny bit more breathing room, but that's also more pages you have to do. This isn't counting volume covers and illustrations for the anime, magazines, or other merch.Krekk, TGS, and Eigaka are good but they've got the freedom to set their hours more than a mangaka working on a series does. They can take more time on a picture with less stress. I don't think they'd handle the employed mangaka grind very well being new to it.
