Would you rank this any differently?

>would you pls spark tribal wars for me?
fuck off back to /v/, retard

This diagram sucks. Is the top the most relevant, or the bottom? I can't tell because the categories are so fucking wrong.
>If it's the bottom.
Indie film makers possibly being relevant on the internet? Has even a single film maker started their career via youtube? Fucking vloggers and let's players have more relevance on the internet.
And I don't think I need to say anything about writers.
>If it's the top
Web comics artists? Having clout? Come the fuck on.
Has the person who made this ever actually been on the internet?
>>
>>7768791
Pyramid charts are top to bottom most important to least important unless it's that gay nutrition pyramid chart.
>>
>>7768793
I thought as much - but I'm supposed to believe web comic artists are top of the internet caste system? They can't be serious!
So I can only assume the bottom, which is larger, is supposed to represent their audience size... but even that category is unbelievable, so I don't know.
>>
>>7768785
webcomic artists are definitely tier 5 or lower. 2D animators, 3D animators, fotm pinup posters, and coomer artists mog them.
>>
>>7768785
Top should be indie game developers. The hardest creative hobby out there with the biggest reward for making it. Indie devs are also group with the most amount of skills needed and being the most multidisciplinary form of art. Also will be the last one to be eaten by AI.

>AI was supposed to make the independent game developer achieve his dreams by taking a huge weight off of art, music, voice acting, etc.
>nothing happened
>turns out AI sloppers don't even have any ideas worth executing
lol lmao

>Has even a single film maker started their career via youtube?
The Australian guys behind Talk to Me and Bring Her Back started on Youtube with short films. A24 also recently picked up a guy for his Backrooms content.
>writers
There’s more fanfiction authors who’ve gotten book and movie deals than indie films makers who’ve made it big. I’d say the authors edge film by a bit.
>Web comics artists? Having clout?
I think by webcomics it refers to instagram and twitter ‘LOL relatable’ comics more than the oldschool webcomics that you’re probably thinking of.
>>
I mean if you had given musicians their own category instead of limiting them to cover bands or producers they'd be at the very apex.
>>
>>7769659
I think you mean music artists cause musicians are definitely not popular or relevant
>>
>>7769646
Basically this. Proof it’s high form of art that will be last to automate.
>>
>>7768785
I feel like the anime artists and the non-anime artists should be swapped. While some weebs might be universally popular to other weebs, they're completely unheard of to anyone who isn't a weeb.

Also, swap 2D and 3D animators. No one does 2D anymore. 3D has been way more popular since SFM.

Music goes on the bottom, literally no one gives a shit about your soundcloud.

Butter kusai
>>
shouldn't gamedevs be on top
>>
concept artist bros...
>>
>>7769646
I mean, it's the equivalent of people who forget why it is they wanted to draw to begin with and get stuck perma grinding fundies. You lose sight of the fun, you lose your creative spark. Having a "tool" that does everything for you doesn't make you an artist. An artist has a vision that they want to bring to life, I'd even say that most people only like the idea of being an artist more than actually feeling the need to bring into existence their ideas.

I like webcomics but animatioms mog them. Please find me a webcomic with 1/10 the influence TADC has. Heck I
will make it easier for you, find me a webcomic with the influence of Madness combat or Eddsworld
>>7769668
>swap 2D and 3D animators. No one does 2D anymore. 3D has been way more popular since SFM.
I agree 3D should be above 2D cause the most popular indie shows are 3D (+ porn) but you have to be blind if you say 2D animation is dead, maybe if you mean pencil drawn 2D animation I could agree but all the other 2D is doing fine

>find me a webcomic with the influence of Madness combat or Eddsworld
Homestuck.
Penny Arcade.
Ctrl+alt+del.
Not to say they're good comics, but they were massively popular, much like those animations, and they were definitely influential. I'm sure there are plenty of others, but those are off the top of my head.

Ironically the worst one, ctrl+alt+del, is probably the most well known simply because of its shittiest page, which has become a long standing and beloved meme.

A Web Comic Artist made this Caste System
>>
>>7768785
Yeah I'd shove it up my ass and shit it back in your face. No one cares, loser.

Nice retarded thread, retard
