how would you color this leg?
It was a little weird to do, since I don't usually work with this kind of lineart, but I tried my best
>>7915883Judging from the discoloration it's a few hours since death, possibly submerged
>>7915928¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Ah well, I guess it was never specified how alive the leg was supposed to look
>>7915874
>>7916080I kneel
>>7915948You do know about locking transparency right?
>>7919228I am aware, but I wasn't used to working with that function.
>>7919233clipping masks then?
>>7919239I know what that is but I don't know how to use it effectively. Nowadays I don't make very complex drawings, in the past I used to use it if I have complex outfit where parts of it can benefit from characteristic of large brushes, but I guess I was just too dumb to understand the advantage of it compare to just keeping the flat layers and use it as selection templates with magic wand
>>7919228>>7919239bloat
>>7915874i wouldn't because that shit looks disgusting
>>7919266depends. Alpha lock is good for most cases, but clipping masks allow you to easily tweak lighting and mood if you set up your layers correctly for blending modes.
>>7915874First I use the pencil tool to close the open gaps, then I use the bucket to fill in.
>>7919266he literally overpainted and then erased the edges
