What is up with this lineart? Why does it look so stiff? This time i tried to add some curvature and depth to it, but it still looks the sameAny tips?
>>7924733Well, for starters, lineart is the least of your worries. You can't draw, it's just a collection of symbol drawing. Your anatomy and proportions are wrong on all possible levels. Your drawing is also a scribble, not even a sketch, with no effort whatsoever put in it and the character is so deformed that you put Dali's Persistence of Memory to shame. His eyes are also placed so high on his cranium that they would (on a normal human) be placed squarely atop his forehead.I suppose the white background is alright, you didn't mess that one up.My recommendation is reading any drawing book, as in whatever you can get your hands on, since you're at the level where even a beginner artist could teach you something.

>>7924733It's the high shoulders and the large gaps beneath. Makes it look as if the arms are behind held intentionally high, like someone imitating a Western gunfighter. Look at some photos of people standing casually like you intend. You'll find that those spaces between arm and body are small, if they even show at all.
