>The text tool has been fully overhauled for 5.3! The main attraction is of course that text can now be edited directly on canvas, with full support for the usual keyboard and mouse interactions, as well as IME support. Is it over for non-kriters?
is this satire? photoshop could do that over 20 years ago
>>7941839congratulations on Krita on approaching Adobe CS2 functions. Also CS2 was released in 2005Another one small step for Krita I guess.
Have they fixed the main complaint I've heard, that it feels like ass drawing in krita? No? I guess it's not over then.
Gotta be bait. Get saged and hided'd.
>>7941845I've never heard anyone complain about Krita's drawing feel, not even in Kritahate threadsIt's always about the UI. That's where all the complaints go.
>>7941839I always found text system in Krita to be complicated mess.In other programs you can just slap text thingy onto layer, write stuff and accept.
>>7941847>>7941841>baitIt was about time Krita actually fixed this, there's this thing in linux where they don't want to admit the faults of a program so they say>"Doesn't bother me">"This WHOLE program is free have some gratitude"And that retarded attitude irks me to no end. The user experience is THE most important thing, that's why Apple is so popular despite things as simple as the keyboard not working correctly in the 2020s. I know most of us can do a little troubleshooting to get things the way we like it, but things working out of the box is SO much easier especially for people new to your product. Bunch of fucking Tech
>>7941839I dont get why people want text in a drawing program
>>7942032probably comics people
Cool
