How do you get over ugly art? Every time I draw, I see the result I'm in pain. I downloaded more than 10 books on figure drawing alone. 10! I can't even copy right! Am i ngmi?
>>7947593What I do is just delete the artwork. Because I'm an emo weirdo
>>7947593You don't want to hear this but the answer is to just keep practicing. The same advice that's been given for the entirety of human history, just practice, it's not going to change, it's the only way for any living thing to learn. Discard your desire for instant gratification. Think of what you're drawing as if it's a puzzle to work through, you're just piecing it together and going through all of the clues and mechanisms to solve it and get the result from your head onto the page or screen or canvas. Use references.
>>7947593appeal cannot be quantified.all you can empirically do is improve your drawing fundamentals.
Like >>7947636 said, you power through it. The more you power through it, the less bad your art becomes, and the easier it becomes to power through it. Eventually you'll start to be satisfied with your art, and things will be much, much easier from there. Just think of it like this: right now is the hardest part of the challenge. From now until the end of your life, drawing will only become easier. You just need to get over this first big hurdle.
i like it
>>7947593I just look at my art from a year ago, which looks much worse.
