why do drawing instructors keep talking about planes?

they keep saying that they constantly think about planes when they're drawing

is it really that good?

Planes are the best structure in drawing. They have curves and straight lines, many interesting shapes, and challenge all the fundamentals of perspective and construction. The propeller alone will boost your drawing skills to another level.

Though it might be overwhelming to start with planes, you might want to start with something more basic, such as cars.

I also heard trains are very based as well. Master will often talk about train planes, which is a fusion of both concepts.
