I want to draw I enjoy drawing it’s one of 2 things I can derive pleasure out of that isn’t glued to a screen but I get increasingly frustrated with myself when it doesn’t turn out 1 to 1 in my head and I have a tardrage within myself. I understand it’s entirely my fault and I understand it’s my own inaction I understand that it takes time but I struggle to overcome this feeling despite knowing it improves as I practice
Haha yeah
>>7958775The path to greatness is paved in struggle and frustration with your current self. The moment you become complacent, you will stop pushing forward. Suffer, it's the great filter.
Drawing is pain, that’s pretty much all there is to it
>>7958775Put words into what's wrong. Stop looking at your drawings as right or wrong and start identifying problems to be fixed.
>>7958775Be kind and patient to yourself, anon. Don't get so hung up on the results, fall in love with the process instead. I would recommend you do blind contour drawings, negative space drawings, upside down drawings, and memory drawing along with tracing/breaking down references into shapes and forms. Get rid of the chickenscratch habit and start doing continuous line drawing. Grind a bunch of shapes and lines and forms. Draw consistently. How long have you been drawing? Also, I recommend you change your diet. A poor diet can negatively affect your learning and it fucks up your mood. Drink more water, eat more veggies, and take plenty of seaweed to lose weight, it'll stop sugar cravings. Look into taking fiber pills or a spoonful that you mix with your coffee or water.
>>7959281I’ve been drawing on and off for a year, usually in 10 minute intervals when I’m wasting company time at work
>>7958775okay get mad at yourself, fucking hate yourself for being a little retarded bitch, but then keep going anyways to spite that fucker
