Why are you okay with this shit?
>>
Im not
that's why Im leaving this shithole for good
>>
>>196459179
3rdie countries have a massive problem, Deficit. This is not talked about often but it the reason why lifestyle in say Denmark is different than Turkey. Denmark has Maersk Group, Novo Nordisk etc, Turkey has no such major corporation. We sell raw material, or low skilled labor. We sell minerals and buy iphones, we sell nuts for 1 and buy ferero rochers for 5. Thus the budget deficit.
3rdie governments compensate this by taxing the shit out of imported goods, particularly cars and electronics. This is why they are more or less status symbol here, and the reason why Iphone costs 2000 euro in turkey while 500 euro in Denmark
>>
>>196459179
On the inside we are not ok, but brazilians are conformists when it comes to politics, we may sound reactive when it comes to sudden changes but in the end of the day we just accept watever like cattle.
A good exemple is the many times the government has hosted a public referendum, majority of people voted against the proposition but the higher ups decided to carry on with it anyway. They took away our guns that way, people just handed them over, no complains.
Absolutely spineless people.
>>
>>196459247
For how many years have you been saying that?
>>
Toyota Corollas aren't entry level
>>
>>196459375
since I was 10 y/o or 15 years ago
but this year it will finally happen. more than confirmed. I will break free from this open prison and never look back.
>>
>>196459379
He said it was a little more than entry level idiot
>>196459253
A iPhone 15 is at least 800€ here though
>>
>>196459491
yeah it was an example but my point stands, Iphones are taxed somewhere around 100-120% here, you basically buy one phone to the government. Mind you this is in euro prices, even if it cost the same turks would have to labor more due to their low wage(but this is understandable, the high taxes is due to the deficit)
similarly shit like tesla that is very common in scandi countries is seen as some obonoxious luxury car here. Pic related. The 100k$ Tesla Base Price become 350k$ after tax. Mind you I converted this to american dollary doos not lira

a lot of things you take granted for a middle class person is only reserved for the few here.
>>
>>196459179
thats what happens when you live in a communist fascist dictatorship. for every car you buy you gotta buy 2 for the dictator
>>
>>196459422
See you next year anon
>>
>>196459583
Luxury cars are also heavily taxed here
Only cars which are free from tax are entry level and middle class EVs
Base price of a Ferrari roma is 1.5 million dkk
But with taxes it's 3.9 million here
>>
Brazil basically demands car-markers to move their plants there though a combination of high tariffs for imports and tax breaks for locally "produced" cars (mostly just assembled there). Being a big market they do get a handful of manufacturers to comply but they don't bring the good stuff (there are Jeeps but only the Compass or the Commander). This makes it looks as if the country is industrializing, and it does help bring in jobs, but there's no significant transfer of technology or know-how. Mexico is way ahead of them in that regard and Mexicans will never buy proper Mexican cars when given a choice.
>>
>>196459593
nah I already have the money and the means this time. you're not gonna drag me into this hell no more.
>>
>>196459623
Because of this you will see 50 model 3s a day because the stupid dane thinks he's getting a good deal by buying a car exempt from tax
>>
>>196459491
That is an interpretation that only an ESL could come up with
He didn't say 'a little more than entry level', he said 'little more than entry level'
If you cannot understand the difference between those two then idk what to tell you
>>
>>196459667
>>196459623
Here every car is taxed heavily, from budget to luxury, again due to deficit. Deficit is the 3rdie bane. They also make it very difficult for you to order something online, stall it on post office, try to come up with some bullshit customs tax, again due to deficit
>>
What about Bangladesh?
>>
>>196459689
Shut up
>>196459816
Denmark is already terrible as is in regards to taxes on cars.
I would kill myself if i lived in Turkey and had to pay 3x the MSRP for a car
>>
>>196459988
Ironically, it also created a very spoiled upper middle class here. As I said, those who think iphones or mid tier car as luxury. If this bunch ever finds a job in Europe they get surprised. After they first buy all the electronics for cheap and brag about it online, they start to realize most people have them, that their wage is just a bit better than the average salary there.
I had a doctor freidn who raged about how little he was making in europe, pointing out garbage makers were making 1500 euro or something. So If a garbage truck driver makes 1500, he must make at least 15000 euros and buy things that he garbageman cannot buy. Its absurd Goods being very expensive here created bunch of status obessed 3rdies who hate egalitarianism.
>>
>>196460110
I saw many expensive cars in Turkey though
Especially in Istanbul and also many people with iPhones.
And surely your doctor friend was making more than a garbage truck driver?
>>
>>196460597
>I saw many expensive cars in Turkey though
they belong to the rich few, turkey has 80-90 million, if only 1% is rich that would still mean 900k ferraris. And most people take loan on phones and shit
>And surely your doctor friend was making more than a garbage truck driver?
yeah was about 3-4000euro or something like that he was complaining how it was not enough for a doctor lol
>>
>>196460110
lol this is also very accurate here
being a 3rd worlder is a disgraceful fate
>>
>>196459179
Its because most of cars we have here are imported instead of manufactured here, and taxes makes everything worse.
>>
>>196459422
where are you going
>>
>>196460695
yeah felt that too, if you ever travel (Another luxury for 3rdies) comparing yourself to different nations is a fun exercise, unrelated nations have things in common due to shared 3rdie status
>>
>>196459253
>3rdie governments compensate this by taxing the shit out of imported goods, particularly cars and electronics
I don't understand how this follows from your previous point
>>
>>196460839
government basically pushes its deficit/debt into the people through taxation it also slows down further deficit by discouraging people from buying imported goods.

A female I used to talk to from turkey made her father take a loan so she could get a iphone 15
And what country was he working in?
>>
>>196461067
the LC500
nice car
>>
>>196461067
netherlands, and kek I wouldn't be surprised about the loan thing
>>
>>196459587
Funny an Israeli should be saying that. Maybe take a look at your own taxes on car imports.
I know a guy who brought his Miata to Israel. The girls were all: "Who's the guy with the Ferrari?"

>>196459253
>Turkey has no major corporation
Washing machines. I forget the name of the company.
Also tons of joint ventures. Siemens makes a lot of stuff in Turkey.
>>
>>196461081
It was a lc500H unfortunately
>>196461126
I have no idea why he could agree to go into debt just so his daughter could get a new iphone
>>
>>196461135
never denied israel is communist hell
>>
>>196461135
yeah sure there are some things, but we are not europe or usa, we consoom more than we produce, hence the deficit
>>196461166
it is a small consoomer loan, its nothing major, you know the shitty female dressing apps that gives you a 500$ free dress but then asks you to pay 800$ in 2 years, similar. Again 3rd world is very status obessed and not egalitarian at all it stems from the general poverty which captures everyone even those who are relativeley doing okay are status obessed.

I will never buy a car

I was just looking at BMW prices in Brazil and they're cheaper than here in Denmark.
Also can you check for me how much a Ferrari Roma costs in Brazil?

Same shit here.
>>
>>196461466
3.3 million bananabucks, so $641.546.

Everyone is buying this new Fiat pickup and the price isn't much different from US dollars though, so I guess it depends. It's made specifically for the BR market.

>Brazil basically demands car-markers to move their plants there
thank you based brazilians for the cheap car parts
>>

Same price as here almost

Russia does not have taxes on cars
>>
>>196461958
We have, but not so high.
When car is being imported its final cost becomes x2 at the least, because of the taxes.

Hate how classist and pretentious thirdies are. They can't comprehend that the jobs they look down are not necessarily bad (in fact they are vital) or poorly paid.
>>
>>196462053
How come so many Russians drive German cars?
>>
>>196463508
I don't know. People say that we have low salaries and mine isn't really good too (around 60k), but there are so many not cheap cars on the streets and even luxury ones...

The current meta is buying cars in Paraguay
Until recently people were also buying in Argentina but idk if it's still viable
>>

yet liberals still consider our troubled and extremely inefficient "free" healthcare system a win over anything from the US,for instance

Over here cars tend to be around 2x more expensive than in the US.

Why?

What can we do about that? We dont even have guns.
