>work here>100 US dollars an hourIs this a good deal in your country?
>>196495405I have a deathwish so it's a win-win
>>196495405>100 usd/hour>where do i sign
>>196495405I know a guy who worked on one, would basically spend 28 days on the rig then get 28 days off
>>196495405If you're Filipino fuck yeah thats a good deal. What are you waiting for, Josh?
>>196495405I'd work on an oilrig for the fun of it
>>196495405No thanks, I get seasick.
>>196496018Any more would probably drive you crazy
>>196496018How many hours?
>>196495405Looks like a good time to me tbqh, I'd be willing to go there just for the experience
>>196495405id pay 100 bucks an hour for your whore sister, if you know what i mean ;)
>>196496093>11 US cents an hour Damn bro you pay do little
>>19649606712 hours a day
>>196496172How much gay sex happens on the platform?
>>196496133>bucks>chilean pesoi know we all joke about Americans being retardad but common, you make it too easy...if the post is talking about 100 UU and i say 100 bucks (no one else in the planet calls their currencies BUCKS, dumbass), you gotta be a down syndrome ape (american) to think I'm talking about Chilean pesos
>>196496133>>196496208>UUUS*
>>196495405That’s pretty fuckin high hourly pay even hereI have the opportunity to go work on a rig but I still wouldn’t do it for the thoughbeit
>>196496208Nah you use Chilebucks
>>196495405How do you even get one of these jobs?
>>196496189i didn't ask about gay sex
>>196496172So he basically made about 200k a year? I multipled $100 times 12 times 28 and all of that times 6
>>196496335Can you ask him for me?
lower your tone
this is much much safer than being among brazilians
>>196496593You are more likely to die in a place like Venezuela than in a minefield or the fucking sea, every country outside the the southern cone (Arg-Uru-Chile) is inhabited by murderous orc like "people"
>>196496093I don't get it.
>>196495405It's like voluntary prison for money, how many of these roided up voluntary inmates hold down every new guy and rape him? This is my unironic biggest fear about this, it's not worth the risk.
>>196496628Yeah, like, if it was me, i'd work on it for like 5 years, then I would buy a bakery since people here can't stop eating bread, then retire
>>196496449yeah, he was making good money
>>196496731It's a sweet deal thenI thought it was shit Because you got no work every other month but with 6 months of work you make more money than a lot of jobs and youre off half the year? Very nice
>>196496720Based baker, i love baking bread man, you are welcome in my country as long as your skin is not brown or black and you can bake good bread
>>196496694Probably none of the
>>196496758I was definitely a bit jealous with all that time off and wads of cash
>>196495405You are also basically a stranded slave for months on end living and working there. It's really not worth it. My cousin did it, and strongly discouraged me from doing the same.
Only Australians get that offer. Filipinos and indians get paid $10/hr in oil rigs and dangerous trade ships.
>>196496807They aren't even worth 10. We should just send them back to float peaches
How do you even get these jobs, do you need some sort of training?
>>196496786Most people that would do this type of shit have nothing to lose, specially desperate third worlders, convicted felons, debt ridden people, etc, so i don't think they give a fuck about being "stranded" for a couple months to fix their money issues, i worked in fishing boats to pay for my knee surgery, sometimes you just gotta do what you gotta do
i would work there for less than half that. working on or in the ocean is my dream
>>196496850Yes
>>196495405SOVL
>>196496765posted from your oil rig rape gang phone
>>196495913Oil rigs are too powerful for mere waves to destroy them
>>196496208autism post
>>196497002yes
>>196496093I would rape you with my BBC for free amigo chilipeper
>>196497095>american>having any type of penisi thought all of you guys were post op trannies who wore wigs and dresses to the mandatory twice a day pride parades?
>>196497123Im not afraid of using my BBC on sassy chilipeppers, sissyboa
>>196497162im not afraid of blacks at all, the mere sight of a job contract or a present father figure is enough to scare you jigaboos
>>196497185My BBC is coiled up ready to spring and unload all over. Call me when you want my chili caliente
>>196497216>coiled upi knew it
>>196496906like, what kind of training?
>>196497248Coiled up like one dem firefighter hose. Galloons of coom
>>196497288>galloonsalright, you might actually be black LMAO
>>196496853It's usually people from poor gulf bordering states. It's the best job they can get short of moving all the way up north. Cousin also told me that if you bitch or show any weakness you are berated and threatened endlessly. Management fostering a culture akin to what media makes the military out to be.
>>196496041Ive stayed in my house longer.
>>196497263sissy hypnosis
>>196495405I'd much rather work in there than in a mainland oil field surrounded by indios as I do now.
>>196495405>Americans get 100/hour for chilling at the sea Basically a paid cruise
>>196496038>>196496018yeah I know a guy who did that too, just touring the world on his days off spending mad money apparently the difficult thing is keeping a relationship since shifts are too short
>>196496758I mean the money is good but can you 12 hours a day for two weeks in a pretty morbid place with nothing to do for the couple free hours you have a day? The accident fatality rates there are pretty high too.
>>196495405Legitimately, how do you get one of these jobs?
>>196497397Are you a BBC Colombian or little bitch crakkker colombian
>>196497571For the grunt just be strong and willing to do grueling physical work. For everyone else be really good at your field like chemical engineering.
>>196495405I wish I could buy one of those as a homes. Imagine just having a home out there in the middle of the sea, all to yourself with nothing but you and the water.VGH...
>>196497571Also if you want the really good money learn ho to weld and how to dive.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hyperbaric_weldingIt's not for the faint of heart and has kinda high risk of death at oil rigs like in the OP.
>>196495405It would be so fun rollplaying as raiden from MGS2 here.
>>196497815>underwater weldingAfter watching that Delta P safety video I would never do such a job.t. not that anon
>>196497881Yeah, sometimes shit just sucks and you die to something invisible to you.
>>196497725>>196497815But what’s the hiring process, can you just apply for an oil rig position online, or do you have to know someone? And does the pay justify the heavy work you do as a grunt? That pay looks super appealing to me currently as a construction worker barley making above minimum wage, but the isolation and the shitty living conditions make me think twice..
>>196498136No idea how it works in the US but probably just google oil rig works or something nearest you coast.
>>196498136Also the work as a grunt would be something akin to this https://www.youtube.com/shorts/FE5FkEsn5asJust on a floating platform.
Good where should i sign.i need this money to let me move to Japan
>>196495405I mean you got to have a tiktok montage with hoist the colors (bass) playing in the background to own your normie friends and especially womyn. So yes I guess?
>>196497815>>196497881>>196497945https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AEtbFm_CjE0
>>196497363> Management fostering a culture akin to what media makes the military out to be.From what I gather that is the case for any safety compliant mines factories and anything involving heavy machinery, though rig drilling is probably on another level. >>196496853> worked in fishing boats to pay for my knee surgery,Big respect to you anon,
>>196495405Anything would be better than to live surrounded by noisy spaniards.
My dad was an on-rig engineer. 15 days there, 15 days back home. Pay was very good, with all your lifestyle expenses paid by your employer which included vehicle fuel, flight tickets, total medical fee exemption for your whole family etc.
>>196497571bachelor of engineering or bachelor in technology (electrical or mechanical) 4 year long courses.
>>196499034Yeah, it's not a good way to go. Either your body gets horribly destroyed or you get stuck. Either way you will drown and there is nothing anyone can do to help you. And it's very dangerous for recovery divers to go get your body until it's certain there is no more flow of water.
>>196496040Isn't this something you get adjusted too? I went on a cruise once and for like the first day I was a bit uneasy but afterwards totally fine. I'm sure this would work similarly even for a much less stable vessel/platform.
>>196499224It works differently for different people. Some can't deal with sea sickness and will vomit uncontrollably. For some it helps just to go outside and look at the horizon. For some reason that helps. Being in balance with the outside world.
