probably advances in other delivery systems like aircraft and submarines, we still fix up those types of missiles all the time too
>>
>>199023466
Because, contrary to popular belief, ballistic missiles are not exactly rocket science.

Tin can factories are also not for military use
>>

when you make stuff that actually works there is no need to improve them all the time. they used 8" floppy disk on their launch computers up to 2019 because, it just worked.
i fear its a lost art today to make dead simple, purpose specific and unbloated code that just works, everything is based on an existing programming language and chipset and becomes a compromise with too much that can go wrong.

USA and USSR invested so much into the space race because it also developed ICBMs

LMAO
France and the USA are the only country that are 100% capable of launching ballistic missiles.

US probably constantly impoved accuracy, until the combination of small CEP and air detonation made it irrelevant to try to make them more accurate
>>

China and Russia prepare for wars of survival. The US prepare for wars of convenience.

I don’t get the ballistic hype
It seems any sand nigger militia can make them nowadays

I'm not going to be the one who looks like a fucking idiot when everything collapses
So I don't even care
>>
>>199023466
It's a remnant from the Soviet era. They could never match the armed forces, so they invested in missile tech.
