I am in my 30s now but I had this problem when I was in my 20s, I tried desperately to meet people my age but I couldn't find hardly anyone. All the places I attended were like full of boomers. Then I heard people on 4chan saying that they know all their friends from college and that they go to house parties most of the time, and it seemed like from there I gleaned that is like the only way to meet people these days is like go to fucking school, that's what somebody told me when I was like 19, "everyone your age is in school" but I couldn't believe that at the time. I would stumble upon some get together with like 20 year olds sometimes, but they were the most elitist close-minded fucks. That's the thing it's called "social capital" nowadays, and I don't think it was as bad in the past. It is the result of capitalism, I think.
finding and meeting people being as cliquey and hard as it is now is just one reason why society is horrendous now, you can't even meet people anymore.
