I just read through an entire section of my eroge without checking a dictionary except in a couple of cases where either I was retarded and didn't understand the meaning or it just wasn't clear for me. I'm nearly at 6000 words and the only times I have to stop to check a dictionary are when there's one or two unknown words I need to look up. Overall I'm quickly reaching a comfortable reading level and I'm happy about that. Hopefully I will hit 10k words in a month but I don't even know if this short eroge will yield so many words.
odds i stay in bedevens i get up
>>220596939What do you use for learning grammar?
>>220597678>What do you use for learning grammar?I only occasionally ask AI to explain grammar. Otherwise I just learn vocab alongside grammar and let exposure do the rest.
>>220596939Wait 4000 in a month is delusional lmao i will probably take slightly longer but doing 80 on regular days and 150 on weekends will get me there quickly. I don't need to learn many new kanji anymore.

Smashing hundreds of words into your head is better than taking it easy and studying at a snake's crawl. Why? Because even if you end up forgetting lots of them in a month, the active recall once you review them again and again will be stronger. When you've done the hard work of memorizing the kanji and readings, it just takes one or two more rounds of review to make them stick in your head.
