Every time I'm forced to go into a town or city it's complete dread, a suburb near me started building public parks within their suburb, there's random hiking trails, ponds, etc. On top of it all the Internet gives you access to so much info so there's no drawbacks to isolation, even if you have some niche hobby you can practice and fly out to competitions. There's so many weightlifting records broken by some random in the middle of nowhere. If you have a loner hobby like programming or something mechanical it's basically paradise.
