>>222492243Monolids are recessive so yes it probably is due to inbreeding. Although sometimes it's not a monolid and they have an epicanthic fold (a dominant trait) that gives them their eye shape. SEA doesn't have monolids and most of Japan doesn't either, you only get them in the northern parts of Asia or Inuit tribes. You'd need to inbreed to keep that trait, it's why so few scandis and finns have it.
