The UK is a great country. 4chan is full of incels who are negative about everything so of course they will hate on the UK.

Exaggerating desu. Lots of Aussies go to London and everyone I know who lived there only says good things but that of course it's expensive. I spent 6 months in Edinburgh and Glasgow myself and loved both too.
Never felt unsafe or anything, but also am a man and all.

It seems like everybody these days is part of a mass delusion where their country is imploding and society is on the verge of collapse. The biggest problems facing Americans these days is that young people can't afford single family suburban homes. Not that they can't afford a home, it's that they can't afford a detached house with a large yard in their 20s and yet we're now a heckin third world country with a Gucci belt. I doubt things are that different in the UK.

I went to Birmingham last year and it didn't seem that bad even though British people made it sound like it was a third world slum.

Birmingham centre is alright, even a bit sovlful still. It's the surrounding inner areas like Sparkhill and Alum Rock that are the real bombsites.
