I miss 2006-2013 burger internet (4chan, burger youtube etc) because the yankees at the time were extremely insular and didnt care about other countries at all. Of course, eventually they stopped with the safe edgy of blaming "illuminatis" instead of jews but thats fine.What really changed is that now Americans want to show off and brag to foreigners so they basically dont question their history anymore, which kinds of kills any fun in conspiracy theories. Nowadays if an yankee wants to say that the apollo 11 was fake (basic stuff), 300 chuds come out of nowhere to say "SAAAR, YOU ARE BEING A RACE TRAITOR! APOLLO 11 WAS A FINE WHITE ACHIEVEMENT AND YOURE A SUBVERSIVE JEW FOR QUESTIONING IT!"American autism is 1000x funnier when they are only thinking about themselves.

And yes you're right the 2000s burgernet had a lot more conspiracy theories, they cracked down on most of them, but when I rewatch them many don't hold up. Interestingly enough a lot of the ones that are still gone were pretty mild like those people who do symbolic breakdowns of media telling you about all the Freemasonic imagery. Those are mostly what was purged oddly enough, which is annoying because imo those were on the sane side generally and typically pretty well composed.
