why do i always hear about flanders and not wallonia? where are the wallonia posters?
>>
>>226072424
I'm there. Ignore the flag I live in wallonia ( near bastogne) but I'm a frog
>>
>>226072808
tell me about wallonia
>>
>>226073019 (not him)
It's like nothern France but they speak funnier, really not much difference.
It's a fake country anyway that will get split between germany/netherlands/France this century
>>

I'm walloon.
To answer your question about why there are more flemish than walloon posters here, I guess flemish consume more english speaking medias in general since not everything is translated into dutch, and thus are more americanised than us and know more about 4chan.
>>
>>226073208
do flemish people really hate walloons as much irl compared to on /int/?
>>
>>226072424
And by the way your pic is not Wallonia, but a map of the french-speaking areas.
Picrel is a proper map of Wallonia. Its mostly the same but Brussels is not part of it and oostbelgien (german-speaking Belgium) is part of it.

Yeah sure, two more weeks.
>>
>>226072424
they're too poor to afford internet.
>>
>>226073274
I think not for the majority of them, but I guess a significant number of them dislike us because they see us as a burden for their economic growth and because we can't hold a conversation in dutch.
Personnaly I never had a bad experience with them irl.
>>
>>226073208
Also walloons tend to simply indentify as belgians without specifying they are walloons, so maybe it makes them less noticeable here.
>>
>>226073378
We just hate the arrogance, the economic fatalism and most of all, the way you vote.
What kind of a genuine retard do you have to be to vote for Ecolo, PTB or the PS?

But we don't hate Walloons, they've always been nice, even though I don't interact with them often. I would never 'hate' the people. They're still our brothers.

same here, my region has a huge diaspora in Belgium but i'd say 90+% of them live in Flanders+Brussels. Frankly, I've never heard of anyone living in Wallonia or speaking French. The only place in Wallonia I know is Charleroi because of the airport and because it's deemed the worst city in western Europe by many.

>why do i always hear about flanders and not wallonia?
because of magic

I share your point of view for politics. The cordon sanitaire is to blame I guess. Each time a far-right party is created, it only last a couple years before being disdolved because it has not enough voters. It don't help that the members of those parties are often absolute morons with no aura and no understanding of politics.

Hopefully walloons voted more right last elections, but they will probably start voting left again next time since everybody hates Georges Louis Bouchez now.

>we can't hold a conversation in dutch.
French is the global language spoken all across the world, while Dutch is only spoken in Holland and well...Suriname? You can't really blame them for not learning it, it's already fine if they focus on English instead.
>>
>>226072424
it's our revenge because they forced french on us for too long
((i failed french in school and i hold a grudge) it doesn't help that i spoke german and english already so romance languages don't stick easy)
>>
>>226073732
Worst thing is many walloons learn dutch as a second/third language in school but still can't formulate a sentence above textbook levels since there is not a lot of occasions for them to practice dutch on a daily basis (unlike english). So most of them never improve and forget all they have learned in a couple years.
>>
>>226073378
German is easier than Dutch if you are from Liège
>>
>>226072424
Crazy to think that little bit of coast entitled them to an enormous African colony
>>
>>226074447
>that little bit of coast
we have 2 coasts actually
