What does /jp/ think of NHK?
NHK World Japan makes really comfy videos, I like them.
i remember https://www3.nhk.or.jp/nhkworld/en/shows/3016112/
>>46644850I have fond memories of watching the kabuki shows and sumo tournament highlights on there
>>46644850Nippon Hikkimori Kyokai
>>46644873this, i love the Japan Railway Journal
>>46644850Their documentaries are comfy, but their current-affairs propaganda is obnoxious, especially the current ones about pushing for immigration.
>>46645054>their current-affairs propaganda is obnoxiousThis.'Core Kyoto' is based, and of course the sumo highlights.
their surface level analysis and presentation of news is perfect for background noiseI don't watch their other shows which basically feature some foreigner who now lives there
Is there any easy way to listen to the NHK radio (not the world version, the internal one) broadcast internet stream outside of Japan, preferably on the phone? No big internet radio providers I've used (TuneIn, Replaio) seem to have the Japanese stream, it's always something not in Japanese, and I'd love to use it as background noise.
If there's a video/documentary you like of something download it in case it's not available again for a long time (if ever)
>>46646826>not available again for a long time (if ever)I saw a japanese sea/ocean documentary series that I really like when I was a kid. I'm not sure if it's from NHK or from another japanese company. The other thing I remember about it is the Honda Asimo robot commercial.

>>46649060Is that Paul Reubens/Pee Wee Herman?
>>46644850My grandfather used to watch this channel some times. But it's pretty boring to be honest.

>>46644850I got filmed by them for a documentary about my boss. We filmed for like 2 hours and I had to change plans in order to be there. Naturally they didn't use anything they filmed.
