So far so good, about a couple thousand has been spent exclusively on the Atelier Kaguya games, with around 90% of the relevant BB catalogue already MTL'd.
Let me repeat that: a couple thousand dollars has been spent on the MTLing of Atelier Kaguya games, and that's exclusively for Bare and Bunny.
What about the others? well, from what I've seen, HTP has 50% of its games MTL'd and Cheshire cat, around 25% now. I think by around the end of this year, HTP will have its relevant, if not entire catalogue, 100% MTL'd,

If it takes about 700-600 dollars for SVN to give a shit about coming up with these patches, then he's roughly making around [650*15] + [650*13 [ soon to be 26 ] ] purely from MTLing Kaguya's 2 most popular brands.
That's a total of nearly 20,000 dollars --30k, almost, once HTP is done-- and I'm not even accounting for the others. Of course, neither am I factoring all the other patches for everything else; everything non Atelier, and that the votes periodically are reset, meaning you'll need to put in a dollar again and again if you want that MTL patch.

Considering that this guy is probably Indonesian, suffice to say, the MTL business is paving a way forward to retirement or at least helps a lot to get food and deal with schooling expenses.
I think he's probably mastered asmodeans tools flawlessly by now, all 195 of them, and likely has even come up with things of his own. It's quite possible he'll be at the forefront of that impossibly distant future of having near perfect MTL stuff at the drop of a hat.
For what it's worth, SVN is a deified figure for quite a number of EOPs. I'm sure he'll one day inject a virus that targets every VN in existence and MTLs it.
