You can get through story missions by borrowing characters from other people but grinding events (where you get your money and lots of mats from) needs you to use your own characters. Might be tempting to get some high rarity character from the current banners but it will take quite a while to get those to full power if you go in F2P. It will take time to get a lot of the stronger characters but it certainly can be done if you are patient. The game does require you to grind stages a lot but it can record inputs and do it by itself but it will still take time in which the game wants to run. Can't just skip and dump 20000 stamina into one missions in 2 seconds.

Sanae has Star and Wood as elements so any stage designed around her will have those elements for sure as weaknesses and be for yang characters only. White Koishi, Beach Yuyu, MV Yuyu, MV Marisa. Lots of powerful characters who could play there. Totally expect them to make the enemies super bulky though, especially on the final HP bar and certain status effects being spammed could also make grinding almost impossible since only White Koishi really resists everything that can possibly mess up grinds there.

Why do people farm the final event stages? the cards are almost always shit and lately they've had shit like multiple gauges. If you want to token farm, just farm the Yukari or hifuu stage with the moon rabbits. absolutely no purpose in farming for the shit irrelevant event cards.
Cheap and easy to use team to farm the new Sanae challenge stage with.

btw if you want to see what teams people are using for the Sanae challenge, #東ロワ高難度 is used for that because of this challenge. There is one guy who only used Koishi and Satori versions for it and one guy did it with only 4 characters, but it did include Sanae herself sadly.
