I'm so depressed. I'm in this slump motivation wise, no matter how hard I try to force myself to read or watch something in jap my brain heavily disagrees with me. I would use this time to take a break and just enjoy myself a bit, but my whole life revolves around consuming japanese media. It's my only form of escapism that's worked. And I'm at the stage where I can't just go back to consuming it in translated form, so I always find myself back to the start where I'm trying to force myself to push through japanese. My every day has constantly been ending in me doing quite literally nothing. I thought being a neet was a superpower for japanese learners. That we have all the time in the world to grind this out. I would be emotionally fine right now if I were reading eroge or watching anime like I usually have done my whole life. But now I've made that extraordinarily hard to do that for myself.
