Large parts of the VN are terrible, almost the entire cast from the first game gets basically no screentime and is completely abandoned, half the VN is a sequel to Pica Pica for some fucking reason, the Kei flashback is neat but really should've been in the first VN, but also the Kana scenes in Chapter 5 are some of the best stuff I've read in my life. I wish Sca-ji could just write an entire VN that's great and not just a VN that has some great parts surrounded by garbage.Also it's really weird how a VN entirely about the human sacrifice necessary to make great art uses AI art so heavily. Like they will show a painting that a character vomits blood and nearly dies to make and says that it's the embodiment of their soul and all the suffering in their life and you look at it and it's bad midjourney. Maybe it worked better before AI images got so common everyone could identify them at a glance.

This scene is missing some voice lines but I checked the ps2 ver and it's because the script is different.
