Checking in on you, /jp/. How are we faring?
Could be worse, could be better. Still weaning myself off benzodiazapines and trying to cut back drinking.
Hoping my heart or brain fails before I need to jump off a building. I think I should just walk backwards off the building I'm gonna jump whenever it gets to that, it'll probably look cooler than just jumping. I'll have infinite distractions on the internet until then at least.
I will have a preview of a new workplace in a few days, it's some kind of Amazon storage work, specifically for people with special needs (I'm autistic).I don't want to work, I think it will end up with me going "I don't feel like it."It's not that bad, I have NEETbucks, I wonder how long I can get away living like this until parents really crack down on me, maybe they won't, seeing how awful the uncle is and they let him be, no matter how much they scream at him, consequences never face him.I still want to be useful to the household, thus far, it seems like I am, my dad even made a comment that it would be better if I just stayed unemployed.I guess I am really lucky and pretty happy.I use my time to learn Japanese, watch anime, play bullet hell and write stories.Things are too peaceful and good right now that I am growing suspicious when it will break.
>>51316305What's the trouble, anon-kun? I was in the same spot less than a year ago.>>51316322>Things are too peaceful and good right now that I am growing suspicious when it will break.I know that feeling. I traced it back to my lack of autonomy and independence. Congratulations on the job. Being financially stable (which you have a good shot at with a combo of neetbux and a job) might resolve that dread entirely.
I'm going to work in an amazon warehouse soon for a few months with someone from my family who also appears to be into IT stuff and all, so it might be fun. Haven't worked since 2022 (because depression and harassment) so idk how it will go.Mom is struggling with dementia, despite not being that old, sis is trying to find her a new apartment because she can't use stairs anymore.I can't find a place to rent because of the housing crisis here, so I'll probably be homeless for a while. Maybe I'll head to the mountains and go permanently full /out/, will probably hang myself if things are getting too desperate.Doing my best to keep up with my games/anime/visual novels to play/watch/read before everything falls apart.Good luck out there anons
How many piss bottles do you have, /jp/?
>>51316413>I can't find a place to rent because of the housing crisis here, so I'll probably be homeless for a while. Can't you stay with a relative for a while?
I don't have much to live for, no possible future or present is desirable, but I can't bring myself to commit suicide. Only thing actually stopping me is my sister, I can't do that to her out of selfishness no matter how much I want to.
>>51316761No, my mom always was a weirdo from my family's perspective. It's been years since someone besides my sister (divorced and currently staying at her friend's place) or my aunt (battling cancer) came to visit our place.I also couldn't keep in touch with my friends because I knew something like that would inevitably happen, so I cut ties with almost everyone years ago.
what is this thread.. :/
>>51316820Cursed thread.
>>51316819I really can't imagine being homeless even for a week. I'd do anything to avoid it no matter what. I hope you'll be fine despite everything. If I were you I'd try to stay with your aunt and help her for a while.
>>51316305>I think I should just walk backwards off the building I'm gonna jump whenever it gets to that, it'll probably look cooler than just jumping. You will be met with instant regret and sheer terror as soon as you make that choice, you will realize that it's not that serious and you could've fixed or changed everything that seemed hopeless, and you will be stuck with the immediate unescapable consequence of your choice till your death. >>51316799Same to you as well. It's not worth it.>no possible future or present is desirableYou have the agency to make your own path in life.People love you and need you, whether you are aware of that or not. You can fail at something repeatedly till the day you die, and that's just fine. You only have one life though, throwing it away would be incredibly foolish and permanent. I hope you or anyone else considering leaving will consider this post some.
>>51316893Just because your animal instincts are trying their damnedest to stop you from doing it doesn't mean you didn't have perfectly valid reasons for wanting to.
These threads are shit and you are shit for participating in them. Post your sobstories in off-topic boards.
>>51316260It's been awful for a decade or more, honestly. It gets worse each year. There's not much to look forward to. Maybe having a close friend who I relate to would break me out of NEETdom.
>>51316820lurk more faggot
>>51317697>buttreacts to NEET threadHow'd you get so new?
>>51316413>Mom is struggling with dementiaI've been doing the same with a family member. It's a big reason I'm NEET again. After I was sacked at the beginning of the year the person asked me not to look for work and take care of them. It's a really difficult thing. Takes a big mental toll.
>>51317869What do you do all day as an Advanced-level NEET?
>>51317869>Maybe having a close friend who I relate to would break me out of NEETdom. If you think it would, it probably would. Anything that's going to give you the peace and confidence to push through is helpful.
>>51317899>shit isn't shit anymore if it's been left on the floor long enoughRetard.
>>51318539lol
>>51318176Oh, sorry, I've only been NEETing for seven years, to be precise. Not a whole lot, nothing all that productive I mean, since I don't have much energy or motivation for it. Reading, writing, listening to music, planning to do things but never actually doing them, fapping to 2D... Vidya was fun but I'm too tired to go back to it, at least for now. Loads of unwatched animu too.>>51318180Of course, but I don't know where to find someone like that.
>>51316893fuck off with this reddit talk
Wonder if any neet /jp/sies from 10+ years ago are still around
>>51316322Im autistic too. Basically, this sounds like a really good opportunity. You will take like a week of getting used to a new job and after that you'll get used to it and it'll just become part of your routine. It's good to have money coming in and you'll feel really good on paydays.
Me and my family moved to the new and renovated house, work is directly 2 stories below my own house and i haven't left the building since we came here. My mom is having a meltdown everyday because she's a normie extrovert but i am really, really cozy. Can't wait for the weather to get colder :^)
>>51319087All NEETs from 15+ years ago are in Gensokyo these days.
Non-taku fags here to complain about their life instead of posting about any interest
