I never was taught shit in my childhood because I grew up very sheltered. Just yesterday my Mom was surprised when I said I don't know how to filet a fish and said she was good at it yet forgets she never wanted to teach me.In my household I know the most about firearms and have proved I'm very safe with them, even taught my Mom to shoot an AR at the range. I have a membership I pay each month to my local range to rent firearms and buy ammo. Still not allowed to have my own though. My Dad only has a stock Glock 19 he shoots once a year at most and thinks that gives him credibility on why I shouldn't have any kek.
