It's like, on one hand having disciplined people that can march and follow directions is a useful skill that loosely translates to being a competent soldier. However, being good at killing shit, and spending time training to do that translates much more directly to being a competent soldier. So as long as your "cultural" parade doesn't interfere with military training then it's whatever. However, as we know most 3rd world countries use parades as peacocking rather than a ceremonial event and that means they are wasting time looking good rather than being good. Side note, holy fuck does that look goofy.
