Some kind of toggle lock rifle like a luger. No idea what though. They've got some crazy tolerances.

The takedown is very stevens 520. Possibly something they never got around to since they went tits up shortly after ww1 and got bought up by savage

It's great going through the collection. So many weird designs. As per the practice each would have been made to take the drawings from.
Have a long recoil operated service rifle firing .30-40 Krag Rimless.

Those are cool, but was that the point of the Walch revolver? It's a superposed charge system for getting even more shots out of the gun, those were not uncommon back then, LePage in France was making pepperboxes like that even earlier.
>>
>>61475870
Well, it falls into the problem period and it's using individual cylinder strikers to set off the rounds despite having two hammers, so I'd say it's a pretty good chance.

>individual cylinder strikers
??? It's a muzzleloader with superposed charges. It takes percussion caps. The hammers strike the caps directly.

What am I looking at?

US Patent no. 142175, August 26 1873. Holds 17 shots, and works like the rotary wheels in an odometer. Each cylinder has 7 holes. The front one has 6 cartridges and one open barrel. The middle one has 5 cartridges, a barrel, and a firing pin extension. The rear one has 6 cartridges and a firing pin extension.
