The Lee-Enfield, without a doubt.
Also fuck off AIfag, there's plenty of Anime WW1 images made by actual humans out there.

United States Rifle, Caliber .30, Model of 1903.

Carcano, it's pretty comfy.

Of ones that I have experience with, it's between the M95 and M1917.
The M95 is retardedly light and slim for a bolt action infantry rifle and especially so for a straight pull. Also, I think it just feels nice and looks neat. 8x50r is unobtanium and 8x56r out of a carbine is a nightmare to shoot however, and the grip sling swivel on the carbines is retarded and ruins one of the best grips of a military bolt action rifle.
The 1917, aside from just being well-designed all-round, has aperture sights.

There's a lot of things I can appreciate about the 1903 over the 1917, the balance and cock on close action for two. I also think it looks way better than the 03A3 despite being a worse gun in a technical sense.

Gewehr 98, sights might suck but it is quite aesthetic.

My P-14, because the boomer who sold it to me for $400 last year never actually checked the bore to see if it was demilled. He just assumed so because it has a drill purpose stock. He had a second one in normal furniture for $1300. I received the "Ya know ya can't shoot this one sonny" speech and played it cool. It shoots great, second best surp trigger after my M1 Garand.

It's smol and cute. It's perfect for my size. I wish I got one when they were $200 back in 2020 but I live in a no-guns household.

It honestly amazes me that no other bolt action had a capacity which allowed for a clip be added while the rifle itself isn't fully empty. That little gimmick makes it my favorite as well.

Its not the best, but I love the FN 1903 purely from the perspective of its aesthetic lines

Mauser offered it as an option starting in 1893; no-one thought it worth the extra $$$.

Well, there's also performance. The LE mag is a work of art, it's almost impossible to make it fuck up without serious and persistent effort; Mauser not so much.
