Why do all prospective NGAD designs look like triangles or dildos? Why is no one speculating that they look more like the Raptor or Lightning 2? Is it because those wonky triangle and diamond shapes look more futuristic than a normal jet?
>>61494979The US has been working towards a fighter without vertical stabilizers for awhile, they've had various experimental airframe projects that have been hinting this way for awhile, NGAD and F/X-XX are just the first fighters that have the budget and real desire to push for the ultimate stealth.Also everything we have heard publicly (which isn't much) points to that design as well.
