interview with Bradley gunner that took out T-90M
>after that had a call with Americans that trained him on Bradley but can't talk about it
>Bradleys destroyed more than 40 vehicles near Berdychi, none even counted killed infantry
>tanked Kornet two times in single day, first time to turret, second time to side, no casualties and vehicle was still on the move in both cases

also, forgot

This *might* have been a BMP-3 engagement.

Even odds the last 100 BMP-3s remaining get sent into one last suicide charge against Ukraine's defenses in a month or two

Honestly the amount of live combat data that the American military and MIC gets from this conflict is absolutely insane, probably making them save more money in R&D than the total amount of money they send to Ukraine in "aid".

Second. To. None.
>>
>>61498321
Not really, getting real world test data is super valuable. You can spend billions of tests and trials and it still wouldn't cover things which will happen in the real world combat usage.
>>
>>61497892
>>61498064
WoT has optics, ammo-racks, you can damage the barrel, hit the turret ring, set the engine on fire, etc.
Of course, none of the modelling is very accurate, but it'll teach you that 30mm auto-cannon versus upper plate won't work, so you gotta shoot the weakpoints.
>>
>>61498321
They have used billions on APS trophy systems that work perfectly in testing but which suddenly have big issues when fielded in real life combat situations such as in Gaza.

>is it normal for armies to use decade old civilian equipment?

They use a lot of civvie vans for logistics and Ukraine likes to hit them with FPVs. Ukraine also has a lot of trucks, but you see way less of them hit since they're farther from the front.
>>
Question.

If you look at videos of the Brad's opertaing in Ukraine. You will notice massive oxidization along the barrel - I presume extensive firing is damaging them. What's the round count on a barrel suppose to be?
>>
>>61499048
typical for poor third world armies
>>
>>61499098
I assume because the ones they're sending were sitting in a national guard depot or a field in Germany for the last 20+ years
>>
>>61499048

The Brads are on the line every day.
In a way, the Brads are the line.
They're all getting beat to shit,
Parts swapped out, the AFU faux-pixel tricolor camo replaced with Sand or Woodland matte.
Whatever you see that's questionable, that's why.
Infusion of fresh material came at the last second.
>>
>>61497861
Of all of the vehicles to fictionalize, you choose the one that's done nothing but get catastrophically blown up from minor damage in every video in which it features?
>>

Wow. I expect western-trained guys in modern IFVs to slaughter when up against mobiks, but I didn't think surviving a Kornet in a Bradley was possible, let alone 2 of them.

So no relevant expertise to infer external coating discoloration on hot steel in a humid environment with lots of condensation reflects internal damage.

they didn't. In fact, Thats the only BMP theyre still kinda sorta producing new. The previous 2 theyre refurbishing the husks from the boneyards.

The BMP3 factory did get flooded recently though (maybe, inshallah) so they may become even rarer.
