would two sas operators actually stop a batshit insane american general?
>>61499961Someone with a gun can stop anyone they can get close to.
>>61499961>britishprobably as pictured>australiansyes, but not for any reason or in a particular situation>new zealanddo they even still exist
>An example was the 8-man SAS patrol designated Bravo Two Zero, led by "Andy McNab" (a pseudonym). This patrol resulted in the death or capture of all but one of its members, "Chris Ryan".
>>61499961No. Real life works by paranoia rules, so guns only work on people of equal or lesser rank. That's just science.
>>61501803Incidentally, Kim Jong Un is the deadliest man on Earth because he's a 7-star general. He cannot be killed by anyone but his zombified dad or grandpa.
>>61499961You know I remember a thread almost exactly like this.It was when that little autistic retard was freaking out. What was his name again?
>>61500447>group of the worlds best special forces with millions of dollars of tradingvs>a nippy evening
>>61499961The idea that they would have to was always absurd. 141 was mostly American going by the voices and patches, and each contributing country would have their own CoC. Did Shepard just wipe out half of Socom and a fair chunk of the SOF of several allied nations to cover his tracks, and hoped nobody would notice?
>>61501803>paranoia rules, so guns only work on people of equal or lesser rank. That's just scienceThe military simulator Stratego famously models this principle. The question is whether SAS count as assassin units but usually those are more of a Bond than a Soap.
>>61501828>Kim Jong Un is the deadliest man on Earth because he's a 7-star general. He cannot be killed by anyone but his zombified dad or grandpaSpies and bombs can kill him.
>>61502168No, he only killed off the members that were in a position to link him to Makarov, which was about 8 guys, by sabotaging an op. Them were disavowed.
>>61501971>millions of dollars of tradingwhat stocks/crypto did they invest in?
>>61503417>which was about 8 guys, by sabotaging an op.Nah, I disagree. Two separate ops, the safehouse and the airplane graveyard, with several times that many people involved. Maybe 8 guys onscreen, but a lot of support personnel to make those operations happen. There was at least one other guy at the graveyard who showed up in the jeep; and it can be assumed several more that didn't make it, and presumably there were other unseen teams in the area of the chalet pulling security like the snipers were. Considering they don't exist in any capacity in MW3 outside of the two bongs, they're all dead. The task force existed to hunt Makarov, who is an even bigger threat in MW3 as he was in MW2, but the only reference to them is in relation to soap and price. 141 as a whole was a loose end.
>>61503475They clearly bought DESU
>>61503585I think it's clear who actually killed these guysCaptcha: DOGYY
Is he really insane?
>>61503499>There was at least one other guy at the graveyard who showed up in the jeep; Are we thinking of the aircraft boneyard mission near the end of MW2?If so, there is an entire war going on around you. probably hundreds of soldiers were duking it out there
>>61503499The airplane graveyard is a fight between Shadow Company and the Ultranationalists primarily. Assuming there was another group the same size as the chalet that's still another 8 people. As for the support personnel, the chalet team is killed so that no one else can get their hands on the information before Shepard gets it. The support personnel doesn't matter because the cover story is that by the time reinforcements got there the entire team was already dead. Shepard goes after the teams with Price, Soap, Ghost, and Roach because they've been dealing directly with things that could compromise him. One can assume the plan was send the teams on compromised missions, and if they survived then kill them at make it look like the enemy; the chalet was successful while the aircraft graveyard went tits up and turned into a full battle.
>>61503168Physically impossible, they'd stop dead in their tracks before harming him to salute the rank.
>>61504294>Physically impossible, they'd stop dead in their tracks before harming him to salute the rank. The spy is immune to that effect and kills a general when attacking but is killed by any other unit including the general if it attacks first. The bomb doesn't move or attack, Kim attacks it and both units die when the bomb is revealed.
>>61499966>they can get close toI think you are missing to point of guns lol
>>61504338It depends on their rank, which is lower than Kimmy's.
>>61501803Based troubleshooter.
>>61504426Your sister is sneakier than that
>>61503168Love that game
>>61503499Two ops:Safehouse team is 10 men, 8 assaulting and 2 snipers.Boneyard team is at least 3 men plus whoever nikolai technically belongs to.Support team was partially via Sheperd's own organisation as he was their main liaison, and we dont see the rest, presumably being killed in both ops with no solid proof otherwise was the cover story and worked.
>>61499961If anything they would join him in defense of our precious bodily fluids.
How many secret ops are there right now? What is the likehood of CIA and FSB agents killing each other at a secret facility in Turkey without public knowledge now and forever? Some crazy shit far behind enemy lines such as a B2 bombing some Wagner warehouse in the Urals?
