it follows a pattern though, you will see a bunch of stupid shitposting about the bug girl and discord, then people tell him to shut the fuck up and he immediately replies with something like "stay on topic man" or "hey how about you post guns?"

it's the worst kind of concern-trolling and it's obvious to anyone who isn't a newfag

Sure but you realize how manipulated you are, right? You accuse people of report bombing, then advocate people to do the same against someone who is legitimately just telling you to read the fucking bill you’re getting mad at and not to get baited so easily. Think for five fucking minutes. Why the fuck would your boogeyman want you to STOP getting baited.

Yeah. People tend to forget there are legitimately mentally ill people who post on 4chan though. Like, actual schizophrenics and people with manic disorders who have no filter and their insane shit just comes through in their posts. Some of the stuff should be dismissed as pure trolling but some of it is actually from literal retards who will argue ad nauseum about their fake websites and paranoid delusions, and when you tell them to fuck off they call you a fed.

Just gonna repost this since I only got in at the very end of the last thread

If the anon who ordered the Vickers sling and paracord for his Tavor yesterday is here, it didn't occur to me yesterday to ask if you knew how to run a two-point adjustable sling. I don't want to be patronizing, so disregard if you already know what you're doing, but check this video out when you have a few minutes. The guy shows you how to run the Vickers sling and it's adjustments

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rc1_APKxvu0
>>
>>61580182
Magpul MS3 sling is GOAT because you can turn it into a 2 or single point sling. Depending on what you're wearing/carrying, having a single point sling on the X95 is actually very practical.

The pattern is too consistent to just be a schizo though. Being real, Poly probably pays some faggots to disrupt conversations here and other places... And they're probably getting government money to do it. I wish there were modern reproductions of Lee-Enfields in commonly available calibers with modern features while still maintaining a service rifle quality to them. I want to larp like Grandpa in Sicily, but I also want to do it with cheap ammo.

I am eternally bothered that SMLEs seem to have dried up, I saw one that was a complete hodge-podge of shit parts slapped together with obvious wood rot for $1300...anything nice is a few grand it seems, way too much for an old surp gun. Assholes are selling nuggets for $700-800 now too lol.

>>
>>61580861
under most situations I'd agree, but if you're moving around with lots of gear on your hips and a backpack too, it helps keep the rifle neatly indexed right in front of you and lets you work on stuff without it flopping at a weird angle. you can make it so the rifle just hangs perfectly in front of you.
>>
So about that post in the last thread about retroactive hate crimes and stuff. I decided to actually look at the text of the Online Harms Act (Bill C-63) and the sensationalism seems pretty damn justified.

What C-63 does is it adds hate speech offences to the Canadian Human Rights Act in section 13 (1). The reason why it works "retroactively" is because of section 13 (2) which reads in part:
>a person communicates or causes to be communicated hate speech so long as the hate speech remains public and the person can remove or block access to it.

So anything you ever posted is fair game if you have some way of removing or blocking access to what it is you wrote in the past.

Now, normally violations of the Human Rights Act are dealt with by their kangaroo courts (Human Rights Tribunals) and usually lead to fines and stuff. However, C-63 also adds something to the Criminal Code:

>320.1001(1)Everyone who commits an offence under this Act or any other Act of Parliament, if the commission of the offence is motivated by hatred based on race, national or ethnic origin, ...[etc.]... is guilty of an indictable offence and liable to imprisonment for life.

Note the "any other Act of Parliament" bit. So basically the way C-63 works is that by leaving up an old Facebook post prior to C-63 passing you violate the Human Rights Act, and if you violated that Act because of "hatred" (i.e. the post is about you hating some group) then you are also subject to the Criminal Code and can get up to life imprisonment. Hell, the way it's written you could violate the Fisheries Act and then get life imprisonment if they could somehow prove that you did it out of "hatred".

Current text of C-63:
https://www.parl.ca/DocumentViewer/en/44-1/bill/C-63/first-reading

tl;dr: Yes you can get punished with life imprisonment for "hate speech" that was posted prior to the bill passing if it's a post that you can still somehow hide or remove.

>>
>>61580903
I should add that because you cannot "remove or block access to" old 4chan posts, anything you post here would still be retroactively okay but future posts would obviously be illegal.

NR ps 90's do exist, a couple canadian retailers had made their own conversions, ofc it came at a 1k premium and they are much less common.
Peak p90 ownership involves going through 3 barrels;
>The 16" barrel they come with
>A 18.5" barrel conversion to get the rifles stripped of its R status
>A 10.5" barrel, to restore the gun to its intended glory.

Of the two, I prefer the vickers sling. It's wider and thicker so doesn't get tangled as easily. It also uses a nylon adjustment buckle instead of the metal one on the slingster which will scratch the shit out of your gun.

If you must get a slingster, I recommend the one made by krydex. I have both a krydex and ferro slingster and honestly the krydex one has better quality stitching.

Just go shoot your steel ammo somewhere else. If the range is saying you can't use it it's because their backstop isn't sufficient to stop steel core rounds, and if you just shoot it anyway your rounds might end up passing through the berm and doing property damage or killing someone, and then the whole range gets closed down.

The range has allowed steel ammo for years, this is a sudden change
The range has been extended and surrounding Forest area cleared
Behind the range is nothing but a mountain side
I am shooting at 100 to a maximum 400 meters with my SKS
The range extends over 1000 meters with berm after berm every 100 meters
My SKS is NOT going to shoot a round through 7 berms, fly through a mountain, and go through several miles of forest to the nearest city in that direction
It's not happening
There is literally zero reason for this new rule at this specific range

Doing that is highly illegal apparently though anyway. Chances of getting caught are probably pretty slim, but I’m sure there’s some fag at the range that would happily rat you out.

it literally isnt if you hold an rpal, you only have to register it within 30 days if its your intention to keep it restricted
think about a gunsmithing shop, are they going to get their butts immediately inspected the moment they change the classification? are employees supposed to rat the place out because a gun was changed to restricted 15 minutes ago?

>>
>>61583715
Yeah, I can see that being a problem. For the guns that you do have certs for though, and for PALs themselves, it's outrageous that you're still expected to carry that shit on you in an age where every cop car has a computer in it

I mean it's stupid that they expect you to carry your registration with your restricteds. They have constant access to their database, they're going to run your serial anyway if they care enough to bother you about it. Making your carry a gay little registration card around, that you could easily shoop anyway, is just being vindictive

100% serious when I say just take up reloading.
If you're reusing brass and casting your own bullets depending on the powder you get you can make .303 for as low as 70C a round.

If you dedicate specific brass to specific rifles and only neck size you can get anywhere from 5-7 uses before the brass starts to wear.

Personally what I did was
1. Buy factory ammo
2. Shoot funs and save brass (bonus because you're cleaning up after yourself)
3. Make/buy components to reload.
4. Profit from reloading.

You don't even need a press. They make hand priming and bullet seating tools.

Oh, and every plate made before certification is still mystery meat. It's not just a rubber stamp of approval, its random inspection s and quality testing of newly produced plates that matter. You don't get that retroactively if you own old plates.
>>
>>61586904
This. I don't accept the excuses made by body armour companies that NIJ testing is a racket and takes forever. It's not like there are a million armour companies starting up overnight and flooding the NIJ with test requests. At most it might take a few months to send them some samples, have them tested, and get the documentation. There's a cost associated with this, but companies that are serious will invest in it knowing it'll pay dividends down the line.

what if a company gets nij certified but then switches to chinese plates immediately after and puts the nij sticker on them
>>
>>61587026
they're committing fraud because that's material misrepresentation for the purpose of financial gain
>>
They'd be opening themselves up to lawsuits on grounds of fraud at least, if not willful endangerment given that it is PPE. May even open themselves to criminal charges, depending on the circumstances.
>>
>>61587045
but its no different than chinesium plate sellers saying their goods are "nij compliant"

>>61587026
>>61587061
>>
>>61587061
Yeah if someone died as a result of the fraud that’s a clear Unlawful Act causing Death charge at least
>>
>>61587026
Ideally, spot tests happen in the factory and random plates are pulled of the line. Whether they simply buy chinese plates, rebrand, and ship them is another matter. But it has happened

https://www.militarytimes.com/news/2021/11/19/texas-man-schemed-to-sell-chinese-made-military-gear-to-us-embassy-in-baghdad-air-force-and-national-guard/
>>
>>61587064
No, it is different. "Compliant" doesn't mean the same thing as "certified". If you're certified, that means the NIJ thselves tested the plates and approved them. "Compliant" doesn't mean anything concrete, it just implies that they were tested to the published specs by somebody, but there's no standard of proof. They can say they did it themselves in their backyards, and if it fails, they can just say
>It didn't fail for us
And there's no way to hold them accountable.
>>
>>61587064
Well it is because you can go to the NIJ website and check a master list of all companies that are actually NIJ certified. If Chink companies don't show up on the list then you know they're not certified. It'd be different than a company actually getting the cert, showing up on the NIJ list, then changing their plates/selling shit that was different from the cert plates.

Besides you shouldn't be buying plates from a company that isn't reputable and well established. If you do, you get what you deserve.
>>
>>61587123
>>61587134
yeah but some unscrupulous company can just get the nij certification with supporting documents and just start slinging fake plates with those documents attached and none the wiser, no different than saying its nij compliant like ai tactical solutions was doing
>>
>>61587162
I don't think any company that puts the time, effort and expense into developing their own armour and then having it certified by the NIJ is going torpedo their own business by doing something retarded like that. There are a million easier, cheaper, and less legally dangerous ways to defraud people.
>>
>>61587211
thats exactly what they want you to think
>>
>>61587230
Kek maybe, but that's an awfully expensive and long con to try to sell as many plates as you can ( an extremely low-volume product) before somebody inevitably tests it themselves or gets themselves a sucking chest wound and exposes your shenanigans jrpjv

Fix what? With FOC it was some employee stealing the credit card info and selling it. I'm sure they fired that employee and reported them to the police. If their website gets hacked they can only try to improve their security or be more careful with what porn sites they browse on the work computers.

Credit card companies just reverse the charges, so the store is actually the one who gets hurt if they've shipped out merchandise to someone who paid with a fraudulent card.
>>
>>61590056
I have a very short list of companies I trust enough to use my CC over the internet. Some of those places might be OK to frequent in person if you're just paying in cash, not much can go wrong there. Correct. I'd love to post interesting setups and equipment/accessory combos, but I know Officer McMuffin would rather lurk here and build flimsy cases about domestic threats than go out and catch actual criminals
>>
>>61590072
Sometimes they figure it out, like when FOC was compromised they preemptively cancelled my card because of a "mass compromise" situation. The best part is they didn't even tell me they'd cancelled my card, I had to call them after a transaction was declined multiple times only to find out my card is dead. Actually missed a good deal on a gun because I couldn't buy it at the time without a credit card.
>>
>>61590068
Police don’t care either, I talked to them and they said it would be hard to try and catch these guys.
When my truck was stolen the cop just told
Me that if I happen to find it let them know, my neighbour had his house broken into and the cops just told him it was unfortunate but it happens.
>>
>>61590102
Honestly what do you expect them to do?
>>
>>61590113
people (my parents) watch too much crime television and think the police are going to collect forensic evidence when a drunk driver hits their fence at 3am and cruises off

idk anon, sounds pretty raycis.
We put a buncha bills into force specifically to protect our ethnicly diverse repeat offender types from ever getting jailtime, unless they actually kill somebody.
>>
>>61590165
I thought about it but that's just twice as many credit cards for them to steal and twice as many headaches with potential charges to dispute.
>>
>>61590465
no i mean have a second credit card in case your main gets cancelled just as a backup
>>
>>61590478
Yeah I know what you meant. Are you saying to just keep it in my wallet and never use it except in emergencies? Normally they will cancel your card after a while if you never use it.
>>
>>61590503
yeah buy some gas with it once in a while idk, its good to have a spare just in case because credit card companies will never tell you that they cancelled it and the only way to find out is actually trying to buy something which may not be convenient
>>
>>61590026
I've bought from them before. Nothing's happened yet. Went to pick up only to find that the place is run by socially inept chinks. Sorry chink bros but in today's climate I don't feel it wise to patron foreign-owned businesses.
Doesn't help that their walls were just filled with turk shit.

Dogshit staffing (including the customer service) is part of how the chinks manage to offer such good pricing. don't be raycis, anon.
G4C consistently has some of the best prices in whole country, good variety too, particularly with ammo.
Used to be able to say the same things about tendies, but their prices dont seem as impressive as they used to be, possibly because i think they hired atleast one whyte guy in customer service(though the rest are still poos), had to bump the prices on most their products.
>>
>>61590926
yeah so save like $20 and eventually the good places go out of business and all you're left to buy from is shitty chink stores with shit service who then realize they've got a monopoly and oh wow look at that they jack up the prices on everything who could've guessed

STOP. BUYING. FOREIGN.
>>
>>61590997
That's right sonny! Only buy from canadian businesses staffed by white boomers with no customer services abilities either! And buy a WK while you're at it to support canadian manufacturing
>>
>>61591015
When you say customer service I'll need you to elaborate. For me, these retailers are purely a means to an end. If I could buy direct from the manufacturers on a lot of these items I would do just that. I could give a fuck if the boomer shakes my hand and smiles, I'm buying 300rds of UMC .223 what the fuck do I care.
>>
>>61591023
By customer service I mean getting sold a $2k rusty piece of shit with "no refunds" until you make a stink about it on the internet like the recent garand saga
>>
>>61591029
Oh well that is bullshit but I think that goes beyond customer service. My baseline STARTS at selling quality products. Selling someone a rusty gun isn't bad customer service, it's basically fraud unless they've advertised the gun is rusty shit.

That being said, if you are buying milsurp then it's caveat emptor.

>>
>>61590005
Yeah, I'm in here a couple of times a week, but most of the time it's just off-topic complaining about poos, and I move on. With how many regulars actively refuse to post or talk about their guns because muh feds, it makes you wonder why they come here and what the point of this general even is

because it's one of the few places where like-minded canadian gun owners can gather online and talk shit about guns or whatever without subjecting themselves to the gayness of reddit or fuddy cringe of cgn?

For those who don't know, pack goats are on the list of essential gear right after NODs.

For context, both these guys were CAF members who got caught running a white supremacist online store.

Guy on the right is Henry Lung, who started the gun club at the University of Calgary. On the left is Kyle Porter. He went to Ukraine and died in Bakhmut last year.
