How do you copy someone else's homework thirty years later and fuck it up?

The US completed nearly 30 years after Krupp already had a gun with a very similar diameter and barrel length and the Nazi design had two to four times the range. We should have stolen more scientists dammit.

Our was mobile, the railway gun was (as the name might suggest) restricted to rails. Furthermore ours was nuclear, so you got significantly more bang for your buck.
