Reminder that this story could be a foreign psyop to yet further demoralize and undermine our military.
>>
>>62001819
Dunno, but what you can see on her wiki page does raise a few eyebrows:

>She was to be posted to the United Nations Protection Force in Bosnia in 1995 but had to withdraw after becoming pregnant.

>In July 2013, Carignan became commandant of the Royal Military College Saint-Jean and in the same year received the Hermès Award for excellence in administration. Carignan introduced sexual conduct training for all officer candidates and also reintroduced ballroom dance classes which had been discontinued in the 1990s.

>She was promoted to lieutenant-general in 2021 upon her appointment to the newly-created position of Chief for Professional Conduct and Culture, with the responsibility of preventing sexual assault in the military.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jennie_Carignan

She was deployed to Afghanistan in 09/10 commanding the Task Force Kandahar Engineer Regiment; I do not know if that is particularly impressive or useful experience but at any rate that's her only combat experience as far as her wiki says.
>>
>>62001828

Has anyone ordered from Sigmaco recently? My buddy is looking at a 1913 stock adapter for the folding trunnion, as it's his only option. Saw when it's added to cart there's a sale discount added. Why no optics I wonder? ITAR? It’s annoying how expensive shit is up here compared to the U.S. especially the sales they’ll get down there on stuff all the time. We don’t get sales like they do up here.

I know a guy who uses GPR's, said those "disturbances" can be anything and that to verify the possibility, an exhumation is required. I find it interesting that when 1st Nations find historical remains, they instantly clamp down and have the remains returned to their land accompanied by solemn ceremony. Yet they prevent these so-called "mass graves" from being examined. Nothing worse than whoring out the memories of victims for personal political gain. >>
>>62009938
nta, but, .45colt and 44mag are both quite cheap/common but have a case length of just 1.285", which is super short for a shotshell..
.444marlin is getting rather hard to find and expensive these days, but would give you a case length of 2.225", which is alright, but still pretty short for a shot shell.
.303brit can give you a similar case length in a somehwat more obtainable cartridge, but it comes at the cost of destroying half youir brass during fireforming.
There is another, rare boomer cartidge that would get you closer to the magical 3", but i cannot remember it.

Greetings, you have summoned me, autistic guardian of arcane knowledge.

What portions of my 410/44mag ball loads would you like me to go into detail on?

444 Marlin brass is expensive, about 2$ apiece, but can be easier to find than spent 410 hulls.
Use spent hulls if you can find them because they'll hold more shot.
Although you can easily fit 12 grains powder and a 1/2 oz birdshot in a 444 case. And you can reuse the cases dozens of times.
303 brass isnt as good because you need to waste a primer fireforming the case neck.

Holsters and kit are fine; I've got holsters, plate carriers, etc. shipped from the US before several times with zero problems.
>>
>>62013240
>What portions of my 410/44mag ball loads would you like me to go into detail on?
Mainly if .44mag cases will fit the chambers of other .410 shotguns, since .44mag brass and the other components you mentioned sound attainable. Plus do you use any kind of die or treatment besides beeswax to keep the ball in place and the cartridge sealed? Do I have to worry about a choked barrel when using these ball loads??
I've seen other tutorials and guides talk about 25gr of Pyrodex being usable with 10g of #7 shot
>https://youtu.be/GqqlXtrEsHg?si=S4zGqrfmyhNMirj4
Plus of course I'd spend for some factory .410 slugs for good reusable cases to reload, I think slug shells get mentioned specifically in another video
>https://youtu.be/VPREwWE0d88?si=FfAvFX2jig2a_fO7
My gunsmith told me that Lee ships directly to Canada so if I persue this 'tism project I'll pick up the reloading kit and powder dippers.
.444 shells might make better slug shells if they're suboptimal at holding quantity of shot; I'm interested in the 000 buck loads for .410 where it's like 3 or 4 balls inna toob, I imagine it would bust farm pests and nests good enuff
>>
>>62013376
I really don't think there'll be a problem, but there's also borderbuddy and a bunch of other similar services if shipito sends it back

Fire forming?

Ie discharging it in a wider than normal chamber to reshape the bottle neck into a more cylindrical shape?

I used to have a fuck ton of .410 shotshells but they seem to have been misplaced after more than one move. I would gladly give that stuff away as I don’t have and will probably never have a .410

I was reading Mountain Man about the Banff area ski, mountaineering and hunting guide Ken Jones and he mentioned preferring tea over coffee because tea takes up much less space and weight when you are trekking in the back country. A weeks worth of tea takes up way less space than a weeks worth of coffee.

I feel like a hypocrite because I am drinking coffee right now & really have been since having to get up at 5:00 AM for my job and because my wife is addicted to it as well. I prefer tea.

44 Mag cases are drastically undersized compared to 410 chambers, they'll fireform quite spectacularly after the first time you shoot. You can load them as normal for the first firing, and dont need to resize after. They'll fit any 410 gun's chambers, although brass in one gun may not work in another after fireforming for the former.

I use no kinds of reloading dies whatsoever. I seat the primers with a bench vise.
My gun has cylinder chokes, but 40 cal round ball is .395" dia and should fit through a full choke without issue. A tiny bit of lead may shave, which with a sphere is almost no contact area.
Slug diameters vary, i load .410" dia Ballistic Products Thug Slugs that i would not shoot through a choke.

I've shot some of these cases about 25 times, they start to get tight in the chamber after that point, i may try resizing with a 44 mag die, dont know if it'll work, not bothered yet.

I've done 24 or 26 grain loads of Pyrodex with round ball, makes a very nice thump om the indoor range.
Don't bother using pyrodex with shot loads, only use smokeless. BP and substitutes use too much precious case capacity.
I can post slug load data if you want.

You can buy all brass Magtech 410 shells, but they're even more expensive than 444 brass.

Never done it myself because 303 cartridge rim is too thick for my old Belge sxs, but you need to anneal the case, fill it with a standard 410 powder load, fill the rest of the case with cornmeal and stuff the neck with wadded up paper towel.

Wastes a large primer which is in very short supply.

>don't see any chest seals or a tourniquet
Didnt even know what a chest seal was until just now, and although i do know what a tourniquet is, i lack the training to confidently use one, thus dont see much point in carrying one.
Getting proper first aid training is somthing that has been on my to-do list for a long time, but the cost and muh crippling autisms make it hard to follow through on.
>>
>>62015353
Looks good anon, bring some extra bags or get a chest seal maybe. cheap moldable splint. I went away with different size gauze pads and just went for like a shit ton of abdominal pads just because thats what my work used (and i stole) for bleeding control and ofc those smaller gauze pads for packing (im just saying this because why not, ur setup is good). I love the bandana, good for slings and holding splints on. could use a few more, cheap cloth ones. Get more gloves, just from a box and throw it in a sandwich bag. always swap my gloves at work when i can and then get hand sanitizer and soap and water. and ofc a TQ.

Residential schools were an attempt to integrate the 'native'/'aboriginal' populations into a (then) modern, urbanized society and economy. Abuses certainly occurred but today are heavily exaggerated for obvious political purposes.

The alternative was them living off the grid, destined for poverty indefinitely. Although I guess they didn't need much help with that seeing how they live today, even in spite of the 50 billion that still gets tossed their way.
At least the English made the attempt instead of outright erasing them and wiping their hands clean. How many others would've done the same as them?
Considering the ethnic history of China and specifically the Han, we all know exactly how this would've gone down if a Han vessel by a stroke of luck drifted and beached at BC or California.

You're going to want a CAT tourniquet and a couple of vented chest seals as a minimum to complete your IFAK. Those are fundamental bleeding control/trauma tools, especially when working with firearms. Have you taken a Stop the Bleed course? If not, you need to. It's only like $20 and a few hours, and they'll teach you how to use all of that stuff, with dummy limbs and wounds to practice on. Ideally you'd have a nasopharyngeal airway tube as well.

I consider the low mag setting more important than the high, but damn, an extra 8x high at the cost of only 0.5x to the low, thats a hard bargain.
Whats the difference in objective lens diameter?
>>
>>62021985
for an spr build 3-18x makes more sense
2.5-10x is more for a hunting rifle

In the UK it's because the "Conservative" party was a complete mess; there wasn't much of an increase in the left-wing vote but the Con vote collapsed and there was some splitting as voters went for the somewhat more right-wing Reform party. France was because of left-wing boomers and the way their parliamentary system is set up; if we didn't have first-past-the-post our elections would look a lot like theirs too.

Yeah great idea fagtron, run to the Toronto media and tell them to be afraid of guns getting lost in the mail and left on the porch. Fantastic guns, super easy to clean/maintain, and probably the most reliable firearm in 5.56 you can currently buy in Canada. It beat the M4 in the IDFs reliability testing.

I'm one of the stand out autists. I legitimately used to love shooting at trees of all kinds. Seeing the entry and exit holes and analyzing how the rounds would deviate would get me a little excited. I've settled at shooting dead trees or logs after reading some spooky greentexts about faries or fae or whatever, teleporting niggas after disrespecting the forest in Idaho. Last time I went out I found a burned up car and shot that alot. God i love shooting random shit
>>
>>62027139
>implying the jews wouldnt rather just keep getting gibs m4s from the US for free
Oy vey
Anyways that aside more than just the idf have come to the conclusion that it’s more reliable - piston guns in general run cleaner than DI guns, and a few different authorities have concluded that of the two, the tavor has superior reliability. Russell C. Tilstra says it, a historian, TFB has a video where he talks about it being a good option - reliability’s one of the best points about it https://youtu.be/QKN6CdkMPjE?si=T8AceeVygJx9fyCb
(Video is sort of clickbaity as he comes to the conclusion that both rifles excel at different things, pretty nothingburger statement)
Anyways, thanks for reading my blog lmao
>>
>>62027117
I actually don't like the tavor. It balances rearward much too heavily, and the short bolt travel makes the recoil impulse quite jarring even though it's only chambered in .556. I've shot several rifles, including bullpups that are more comfy to shoot.
>>
>>62026680
Just get a fullauto bb pistol if you're already committed to being gay. tonnes of fun.
>>62027032
Yeh.
Nobody in canada has them new right neow. IRG has em' starting at a mere $1860us (~$2540cad) which is pretty good, even wif shipping and import fees add up to a couple hundred, thats still better than most stores have been selling them for here, though shipping may take a month of two.
but yes, buy gun, theyre great.
>>
>>62027156
>mp5 cope, reliability is irrelevant
A dewatt or an airsoft gun would make a better cope
atleast One is real. and the other you can shoot your frens with.
>>
>>62027202
>.556
Uh huh
Rearward balance is literally one of its best features.
>>
>>62027240
thats just cope for the gun being much heavier than an m4
>>

>>

I'd wager the 95 can fire atleast 5x as many rounds between malfunctions or breakages, compared to the rdb.
>>
>>62025627
i should join the post office so i can keep all the nice wifu guns that fudds are throwing away for myself, if i dont do that gangs will get them or they will be destroyed, cant let that happen.

I sold my RDB to buy a tavor, and you will too lol
>>
>>62027435
>>62027405
Damn really? Reviews seem to agree the RDB is similar in quality but much cheaper, and I'd rather not buy from Israel
I could go for the Tavor if it's that much better.
>>
>>62027542
it is absolutely that much better.
The RDB is cheap, hard to clear jams, and feels like a toy. Kel Tecs are fun, but they're range toys. The Tavor is a genuine war-tested military rifle. Just buy used lmao.

Israel sucks, their guns do not. IWI is a huge company that sells their arms around the world. If you’re asking in good faith though - it’s been used in conflicts for the last decade and a half. They’re being used in the slav bumfight right now, as the Fort 221 is just a license built tar-21, and plenty of other wars.

As a general rule, reviewers push products, and provide first impressions, but usually don't go much beyond that.
>>
>>62027887
I wasn't arguing the morality of it, a country that spends that much time at war is probably more trouble than its worth, other than for arms development/testing.

As apposed to an sl8; yes.
compared to a 95 though, it can be a hard call, it sacrifices alot, for just some accuracy gains and a more conventional shape.
