Might give the A5 one more chance, I just hate the OEM spring and the only other ones I've tried have been the Sprinco green and the Tubbs. The Tubbs just made bolt lock impossible to detect and the Sprinco was basically just slightly better than oem but got rid of the boiioioing. For the state forests, you don't have to shoot in a designated area. A shooting spot just has to meet certain criteria, such as: can't shoot garbage, must have a backstop, can't shoot trees, can't shoot across roads or waterways, no tannerite, and no shooting after dark. They're not hard rules to follow, so you can find some good 300+ meter spots. I find new spots on google earth and driving around.
