I have a DPM recoil spring module which I feel helps, what I think that makes the PX4 shoot good is that it’s recoil impulse is more spread out during the cycling as the barrel rotates and the slide reciprocates versus a tilting barrel style action. I do not find the full-size as recoil reducing, just the compact. The GSD (bull barrel full-size) I didn’t really form an opinion on. Personally I do not think you can take advantage of the flatter shooting of the PX4 compact without a red dot on the gun. Anything reliable is good enough, practice is what makes the difference, but trying new guns might give you insights on your shooting that staying with one pistol may not.
