I'm thinking of getting this as my first handgun. I've test fired about 300 rounds through a loaner one at the range and I really liked it. Any thoughts?
>>64826509Way too expensive and big, look for the Gts model as it is easier to carry comparatively
>>64826524I already carry a gun for work, this is just for fun. I've seen a picture of one with a cracked slide at 17k rounds. Is that a common issue?
>>64826574>my first handgu>already carry a gun for workIs that some kind of European thing?
>>64826509In USD, that would be my M9, 92FS Inox, and M9A1 with enough for at least 500 rounds, a range trip, targets, and a chick-fil-a meal.
Every day I look there's some new 1911/2011 company out there.
>>64826606Don't forget>First handgun guys, is parts failure at 17k rounds a bad thing?Wew
>>64826574It’s not a common issue or an issue at all, that guy is shooting super light recoil springs with his reloads, he did it twice too. He doesn’t understand that what works with a CZ shadow 2 doesn’t work with a beretta 92.
>>64826509not a bad choice but if you plan on carrying it, get a 92fssafety on a 92fs is better for carry, especially for a first pistollets you carry with one in the pipe and it has a decocker, more freedom with holsters because of this and it literally cannot fire even if you drop it because the firing pin is completely blocked, even if somehow the hammer gets pulled back and dropstrigger would need to be upgraded to be like that but ergonomics and feel would basically be the sameplus if you get the 92x performance down the line, all the mags, sights, parts(mostly), will all be interchangeable between themi also wouldnt want to carry the 92x performance because they have such light triggers and easy to move safeties since its a competition gun, they are also too beautiful to want to scuff up from carryinga lot of people will give me shit for this but look into the derya melik, i have one and its honestly pretty good. trigger is kinda ass out of the box compared to a 92fs but its easy enough to upgrade and its still cheaper than a 92fsi do see you have german language in the pic, if its a hastle and you can only get 1 or you cant even carry it or its a major PITA to get a gun, definitely get the 92X performance over the 92fs or melik, the advice i gave about the cheaper berettas is based on burgerland law where you just walk in and buy it
>>6482657417k rounds is a lot and its expected parts will break well before that kind of round count but its also a competition gun where a lot of people shoot reloads, shoot fast, and modify/swap parts from stockyou need to get that additional information to make a good judgement call, when you look at competition guns things get more into the specifics because more often than not people are modifying them and running them hard with non-standard ammoits like looking at a review of a performance car where people are driving it hard, tuning it, and swapping parts out, the failure couldve came from the modifications or from non-standard use
>>64826466Should I get a turkatto or platypus? I think da/sa=striker>sao for practical reasons but I already have every glock/pdp I would ever want and at least one 92/px4/226/sp01
>>64827100get a standard single stack 1911 in 45, the way god intended itthen get some sweetheart grips and put some hot bitch in there and listen to AC/DC while open carrying, also the way god intended it
>>64827110>open carryingthat's illegal here tho
>>64827126could also get a 5 round snubbie 38 special and pretend to be a hard boiled detective
>>64827110>>64827142or maybe just stop being a fucking nerd.
>>64823866kek
>>64827148nerd website. go back, normie.
>>64827148a guy wearing a trench coat and carrying a a snubbie is infinitely cooler than generic sheepdog glock guy
Bad news, anons. I saw a mudshark this morning in the grocery store. In addition to the usual fent goblins, not instead of. Day ruined before it even started. I found some maybe new sparkling ice though, and my Staccato looks cool beside it. I highly recommend the P4.5 if anons are considering buying a 2011.
I should get a gen 6 glock 17, shouldn't I?
>>64827110>PicHe's not wrong, I never touch my mk18 thanks to it's shitty quadrail and it also weighs 9.4 lbs now due to all the crap I've slapped onto it.
>>64827450https://youtu.be/9f7FBomYqLs?si=vbEr0IlJ-qpBQLDQFunny you posted. I was just watching a review on it.
>>64826606>Is that some kind of European thing?yes>>64826619yeah, prices over here are awful>>64826958okay, so it's just him being retarded, got it
>>64827453>it also weighs 9.4 lbsFuck dude. What an anchor. Your arms must get smoked carrying that around.
I think I've finally gone full fudd when it comes to my taste in firearmsCurrently deciding between a ruger sp101 with a bobbed hammer and a sig p238, both for $500. Which should I pick?
>>64827590sp101, 3", hammer fully exposed and erect
>>64827590if you buy the sig I'm going to have to call you a faggotI'm a revolver and 1911 guy, but buy whatever you wantJust avoid sig products like the plague, you don't want to have a uncomanded discharge in public
>>64827622>Just avoid sig products like the plagueSig isn't like Hyundai/kia where every model is unreliable garbage. The P226 and P210 are objectively fantastic.
>>64827437This feels targeted
I've been out of the loop for a long time.Anything interesting come out of SHOT?Is the Glock Gen 6 worth it or should I stick with my G47? I question them going back to the older style guide rods.
>>64827662Targeted at real handgun enthusiasts who want a cool, high quality gun at a premium but relatively normal price.>>64827670Holosun's new optics with a forward facing light sensor is pretty much it.
>>64827640>The P226 and P210 are objectively fantastic.And the p220....
>>64827640fuck off, my elantra is a great car and regularly gets me laid
>>64827674And the P365...
>>64827670In terms of handguns here's my listChiappa 44 magBond arms OR and railed/silenced derringersNew Steyr (arex) pistols coming soon Daewoo 9mm titanium revolver (maybe 2027 or never)

>>64827670gen 6 is a downgrade, gen 5 is still king
>>64827670S&W 386 NGNighthawk GI PlusPirate pistol
>>64827755>gen 6 is a downgradeHow so? I know Ben Stoeger is upset about them going back to the shittier recoil assembly but I thought people liked the other stuff.
Went to a steel match with my coworkers, they now know I appendix carry 5 inch 1911s and will probably guess that I CC to work as well It’s over >>64827758The Nighthawk GI plus isn’t that new, it’s based off guns they do for DL supplies on gunbroker which are often 3.5k
>>64827755Gen 6 has fixed the grip texture, trigger guard undercut, optic cut, etc with the Gen 6. It's not a downgrade retard.>>64827760The recoil assembly is such a minor thing and people run the gen 3 no problem and don't complain.
>>64826466Asuka... Someone post that ICE picture of her in the OP please. I must save it.>>64827640The P230, P232, P229 are also all quite nice. The P238 and P938 are very cool but you'll want the stainless one-piece guide rod that's perpetually out of stock - the OEM is a two-piece polymer contraption that ends up breaking super easily. Nothing wrong with polymer rods that are one-piece though I understand why some people hunt for metallic replacements regardless.
>>64827767If there are work rules that forbid weapons, juke them and carry pocket/backup only
>>64827780Ungroypedunbroken is the source from Twitter
>>64827760>>64827771>worse RSA>more aggressive grip texture when gen 5 was already a great compromise of IWB comfort and grip>a friggin gas pedal cut on a duty/cc gun>fuckoff large beavertail that will need to be ground down for appendix carry to avoid being poked in the stomach every time you bend over>introducing yet another mounting pattern into the marketGen 6 doesn't offer any improvements while making the gun worse for carry and bending over for gungrabbers with the autosear block attempts. The only slight improvement is the more undercut trigger guard and that's debatable.
>>64827771>trigger guard undercutDo nerds actually gives a fuck? Make no difference.
>>64827829The grip texture on the 5 sucked. This isn't going to be worse for IWB. Lose some weight and maybe you won't have a ton of lard pushing your skin against your grip hard. I carry a fucking metal textured grip and it doesn't bother me. The gas pedal is just a small lip in the spot where your thumb would go. Many other handguns are adding one there in the exact same way. It's at most a plus for someone who wants it and at worse it's a nothingburger. The beavertail everyone was whining about in the gen 5 for getting slide bite. There isn't a new mounting pattern. They provide the plates in the box now for you to mount whatever. MOS sucked and this is better in every way.>>64827863Yes nerds actually give a fuck. Lots of people were doing this on the gen 5. Now you don't have to. I didn't care enough to get one myself. Because it's a fucking Glock and if you can't grip or control it stock then you're a gigantic bitchmade pussy and they made .380 specifically for your weak as fuck girly wrists.
>>64827895The grip texture on the gen 5 was awesome, wtf are you talking about? It provided traction but it didn't rape your undershirt like S&W's.
>>64827829I love the 'gas pedal' on my echelon, it's an okay feature if it's subtle. >>64827895>>64827895I'm kinda waiting for some long term reviews on the new plates, however im happy with the gen 5 COA. I wonder when they will release the gen 6 COA>>64827590the ruger bro>>64826509I may get shit on here but I really prefer the slide mounted decocker, if only because I feel like the frame mounted is hideous. And im aware I made my m9 hideous with the light and optic kek
>>64827895lmao your shits all retarded>The grip texture on the 5 sucked.no it's great, grip texture can go too far. Case in point the M&P 2.0. Great grip texture for OWB/Duty use but needs muting to avoid tearing up undershirts or your own skin if you carry it all day and are even somewhat active.>Lose some weight and maybe you won't have a ton of lard pushing your skin against your grip hard.i suspect you don't even carry, this is right up there with the "aiwb only works if your fat" level of outing yourself as just not having any actual experience with the subject. anybody who's AIWBd a cocked and locked firearm or something with an exaggerated beavertail is familiar with the annoyance of bending over and getting jabbed by the hammer/frame.>The beavertail everyone was whining about in the gen 5 for getting slide bite.Ironically enough an actual fatty problem thats non-existent for people with a normal BMI, glock has been getting shit for this from fatties since the gen 1.Glock 6 offers nothing over the glock 5 in terms of improvements for non OWB carry while having meaningful downgrades.
>>64827905No it wasn't. If it was perfect they wouldn't have changed it.>>64827937I carry a Beretta 92 with an aggressive grip texture and don't hurt my skin because I'm not a thin skinned fat faggot. There's no reason for normal people to be worried about the Gen 6 texture. I'm aware of what it feels like to get a metal beavertail jammed into me. I move around differently so it doesn't happen as much and use a phlster enigma to position it in a place where it's less likely to happen. Entirely a skill issue, but you're just saying that you think it will happen not that you own one and carry one and it does happen. Big difference. The M&P texture is peak. These textures will eat at your clothes over time but that's a minor price to pay, and clothes don't last forever anyways. Wear a cheap undershirt and/or overshirt. I've carried with metal lokgrips enough to figure it out and solve the problem, and I offer this advice for free to you so you don't need to figure out in 6 months that your shirt is a little frayed.
Who the fuck are Shadow Systems?
>>64827921They're supposedly just crush washers, for most optics they are direct mount as I understand. For cross bolt I'm guessing you need a full on adapter though.>>64827968Most Glock clones are cheaper than OEM and justasgood. Shadow systems is more expensive than Glock and are hit or miss.>>64827937I should point out that you can always do what this anon did to blunt the texture: >>64827921 but I think the new texture will please more people than it upsets.
>>64827968They're a boutique Glock clone company that got "big" making racier Glocks, adding things like slide cuts and fluted barrels and light, Overwatch-style triggers and whatnot. Their biggest selling point is probably the direct mount optics system, and the fact that they make the extractor channel shorter to prevent optics screw interference, which can happen on Glocks/PDPs/M&Ps/VP9s if you use the wrong depth screw. Their parts aren't 100% compatible with Glock aftermarket stuff, though, so you have to do your own research on a lot of things if you don't like the stock Shadow Systems gun. I would not really recommend them.
>>64827965>had to get a specific low carry holster just to work the beavertail/hammer problem im talking about, still has to adjust his movements just to reduce the frequency of it>j-just deal with the grip texture sanding away your clothes and skin!>it isnt a problem for normal people>despite being one of the most frequent complaints about the 2.0 and similarly aggressive grip texturesholy cope, you really bothered typing all that out just to prove my points for me lmfao>you're just saying that you think it will happen not that you own one and carry one and it does happenIve already been there and done that with 1911s, CZs, and extended beavertails on other firearms, i dont need to do it again to prove something to youYou're obviously retarded and emotionally invested in the gen 6 for some reason
>>64828014You're not even quoting what I said retard. This would be a different story if you were repeating your drivel back to your friends who can't literally see what I said is in direct opposition of your point. You're crying about a plastic texture lmao, time to toughen up.Oh and when you're out carrying with your thin skin, be sure to put on your sunscreen!
>>64827829>a friggin gas pedal cut on a duty/cc gungas pedals are meta and you simply don't like that.
>>64828028>he thinks green texting has to be a quoteWDHMBT
>>64828045What I meant by that is that you're a disingenuous faggot. Hope that helps.
Has anyone ever shot a CZ75 compact? How does it feel to say a Glock 19?
If the grip texture doesn't make you bleed, it's not aggressive enough.
>>64828053>How does it feel to say a Glock 19Its grip texture is way too aggressive compared to a G19 gen 5. You'll literally be cheese grated upon contact with your skin. Don't do it anon.
>>64828053>>64828061Ok but on a serious note, the triggers are way different. I prefer the CZ. I also prefer the ergos of the CZ. The CZ is a bit heavier which I felt helped with the recoil but it's not too bad with either gun but some don't like to carry heavier guns.
>>64828061Thanks anon. I’m playing with the idea of getting another compact. Currently I have a single stack s&w. I kinda wonder if I’d like to have something that’s a little easier to find parts for though.Preferably hammer fired. It’s a shame more companies don’t make like a compact hi power or something. With the Sig 229, I hate how high the bore profile is.Is my only option a 1911? Maybe I should just stick to my s&w.
>>64828111The CZ75 compact is good, so is the PX4 compact. You can get a 1911 but they are limited in capacity like your single stack is.
>>64828152Nice, thanks friend. In terms of the CZ, is CZ the only company I should be looking at or are there any other good/ better companies that make em?
>>64828156Not quite sure I fully understand your question, are you asking if that's the only manufacturer + gun you should look at? If so, the PX4 is made by Beretta. It's a decent alternative. The HK P30k comes in DA/SA and LEM which is another option.
>>64828050>claim a problem doesnt exist>admit that they are real and your multi step work arounds for them>claim that these arent normal problems for people>theyre actually one of the most complained about problems by people>"y-you're a disingenuous faggot!"honestly its just sad at this point, i hope you enjoy your gen 6 anon!
>>64828195Not reading all that, cope and seethe about the latest and greatest Glock or whatever.
>>64828184No, I’m asking if I’m looking at a CZ 75, should I only look at the ones made by CZ, or are there other companies that do it better?
>>64828284Do you mean you want a CZ-adjacent gun like a Tanfoglio or a Sphinx or a BUL or a Jericho? Or do you just want a generic double-stack, hammer-fired, steel 9mm?
>>64828284The P-01 is pretty good. Tanfoglio makes CZ clones and Jericho does too but there's no real reason for them in my opinion if you want the actual CZ75. The P-01 is aluminum-framed so it's lighter than the regular compact 75 is, though it has a rail if that's an issue to you. The PCR is the same essentially other than having no rail and a loaded chamber indicator that can have some problems with extraction.
>>64828284Nta but Tanfoglio's cz-75 compact equivalent is around the same price but with a much more limited aftermarket so not really worth it unless you snag one on a big sale. The kriss compacts are discontinued so don't bother, and any Turkish clone should be avoided.
>>64827686>>64827737>trigger return spring breaks
I know I want a Ruger SP101, just can't decide between one of the 327 models or the 357 with the bobbed hammer. I prefer the 327s, but they don't have that hammer option. Has there ever been a case of someone dying because their gun's hammer got snagged on their clothes?
>>64828366>>64828366>someone dying because their gun's hammer got snagged this is a meme, if you want the absolute smallest profile revolver for like pocket carry I understand, but anons routinely draw hammer fired pistols and I've never once heard of the hammer getting snagged
>>64828366Do you own a reloading press?>their gun's hammer got snagged on their clothesNo
>>64828284if your asking should i cheap out and buy a knockoff thats on your budget. ideally no but if saving 50-100bucks is your priority thats your decision.
>>64828385I could get one, but 327 seems in stock and not unobtainably expensive online for a gun I'd put a few hundred rounds through a year. It would take a really long time for a quality press to pay for itself
>>64827829Gas pedals are good for indexing the support hand, the idea of pressure steering the gun is dumb but the thumb rest is good
>>64828402327 ammo is 70cpr
>>64828424but the texture will mildly increase shirt wear so it's a downgrade
I want a: >striker-fired>aluminum frame>full size or compact >9mmHandgun with a good trigger. What do I buy?
>>64828535>aluminum frameWhy?
>>64828535You should buy a DD H9. Give us your review once you get it.
>>64828535S&W M&P9 2.0 metal
>>64828358I heard they break often, I'm going to try really hard to break mine. More importantly I need to do some more cosmetic work, and polish trigger surfaces, the rolling break is gritty and has many false walls.
>>64827760>shittier recoil assemblyThe 17.6 lug is stronger for it than the 47.5 and the slide spring is now cheaper to replace as you would expect with duty slop>>64827829Competition features on duty pistols is the meta now, kek
>>64828631>Competition features on duty pistols is the meta now, kekThis sort of makes sense because it's from the "practical" competitions
>>64828667Fair dinkum
>>64828667cops often compete with their duty rigs or at least the holster how would you design a competitions or even just drills that mimic "combat" situations?>inb4 simunitions becomes gamey, people play the game like it's paintball instead of life or death.
I’d love to buy someone’s beat up worn out CZ75 ÚwÙI like worn guns. It helps me not care about treating them like safe queens.
>>64828543'tism honestly
>>64828543nta, but for carry guns, most people want them to be as light as possible.I’ve conceal carried a full sized all steel 1911 before and it’s not fun. The first couple hours or so aren’t that bad, but it gets old after a while.
>>64828881What tism I have manifests as min-maxing, which makes aluminum the last choiceBut if you MUST get something that is not the lightest, not the softest, not the grippiest and not the cheapest, your options are very limited. Pretty much what's been listed plus Sig P320/365 AXG, Keltec P15 Metal (just don't), a Philipino glock clone, a boutique version of the Strike One and maybe one or two other third world literalwhos>>64828897That's why plastic

>>64829095>Baja BlastHell yeah!
>>64828897He didn't say "why aluminum instead of steel" he asked "why aluminum". Anon described a gun that is usually polymer, not a 1911.
M&P 9 2.0 Compact or Full? For first, do it all gun.
>>64829206Can't go wrong with either. Whichever fits your hand the best.
Has the Shield X been pretty vetted at this point as decent?
>>64829073H O L E S

>>64829216200 grain SWCs on top of 6.8 grains of Autocomp. They were seated a little deep, at 1.216" for these. Should have been 1.245" per Xtreme's guide. The same picrel loads had misfeeds in my Shield 45.
>>64829206If it were me, I would hold and feel both if possible. If the compact gun on the left fit and felt good, knowing what I do now, I’d go with that one. I think a good “all around gun” includes being able to CC it. If you’ve got a full sized handgun, your only uses are basically range time, or a truck gun.
>>64829254I'm leaning compact but will hold off on deciding until I try both. Turner's has the compact on sale for $400. I hope the sale is still ongoing if I decide on the compact this week.
So how we feeling about 4chan covering up pizzagate? Sorry for the whole not handguns thing since this is pretty fucking wild to me.
For some reason, I have a Glock 19c with a threaded barrel, so no barrel cuts. Is there any reason I should get a OEM 19c slide over this? OEM is $199 plus tip
>>64829206I started with a Glock 19 so that would be the compact equivalent. You can't go wrong with either, the main difference is the grip length. So like others said, go with whichever fit your hands the best. If you're a size L glove or bigger then maybe the full size is best.>>64829366These emails get crazier and crazier the deeper people go through them. >>64826466Give me more time you jerks!I just finished setting up an ammo press and training a tech (picrel) so I can do the challenge in exotic weapons (bulldog, broomhandle and nugger)
>>64829434Yeah I'm just dumb. Also just looked at Brownells' site, they mention the barrel is only meant for use in their own cut slide. PSA's site doesn't mention this, those fucking rats. Guess I'm getting an OEM barrel
>>64828937How so? I'm curious, didn't know that. I like how light aluminum feels. Uncertain if the CSX and P-01 are outliers for this or not

Is 10mm recoil fairly manageable for how large a cartridge it is? I've never shot one.
>>64829409It's just pattern recognition. Yes there's a chance you're wrong, but too many coincidences have lined up over the years. I think where people get lost is they can't understand why a few being guilty damns the whole group. It's a history repeated time and time again with these people.>>64829511Because the mass that steel provides reduces recoil and some people believe that polymer absorbs some of the recoil but aluminum does neither.>>64829525It's not impossible but it is noticeably more powerful than 9mm.
>>64829514>picked up a legion for $500For real?! That's a hell of a price.
>>64829511NTA but I have mixed feelings on aluminum It certainly has the worst of both worlds, it’s more expensive to produce, doesn’t give any sort of weight improvement (steel guns have less recoil through sheer mass), doesn’t have the flex of polymer to absorb recoil. Since it’s more expensive to produce they often don’t checker or serrate it that well. While polymer can be very aggressive texture and a soldering iron can instantly change it to however you want. However aluminum guns feel more premium, the rigidity/polymer flex doesn’t really matter for 9mm, and sometimes just feels better. I wish some of my polymer guns were aluminum.
>>64829511It doesn't soak up recoil like steel does, but it beats up your hands and joints like steel does. It's lighter for carry, but it still isn't as light as polymer. It also doesn't flex like polymer, and most people would say it's the least comfy under recoil of the three. There's potentially friction between steel magazine tubes/feed lips and anodized aluminum, and after a while, you'll gouge an aluminum magazine well with steel feed lips. Frame cracking is an issue 99.5% won't run into, but aluminum is also going to have a shorter service life than either steel or polymer. Aluminum as a pistol frame material was really just a bridge between the steel and polymer worlds, and the bulk of its usage today is just because it's in legacy designs like the Sig P22X and Beretta 92. Either go steel, or go polymer.
>>6482952510mm has a wide range of loadings from .45 ACP tier to beyond .357 magnum / .41 magnum, the FBI downloaded it from its original 180 gr at 1300 fps to around 1000 fps, this was the FBI “lite load” which helped agents qualify while retaining hollow point performance on par with .45 ACP and having better penetration. The original 10mm loads at 180/1300 fps or 200/1200 FPS are a bitch to shoot while that 1000 fps load is easy (later becomes .40 S&W) and the more modern 180 gr at 1100-1200 fps packs more than enough punch while still being very manageable to shoot out of a steel frame auto. I really like the 1150-1200 180 gr Magtech rounds. They were as cheap as .45 ACP a few months ago
>>64829516That's what I'm hoping. How can anyone fuck up a single stack magazine? And if they found a way, I should be able to modify it into working much easier than a double stack mag. >>64829537The more I look at the 4516, the more I want it over the 645. It has comfy proportions like the Glock 36 and the 645 is xbox huge.
>>64829525It depends on the loading. A lot of 10mm guns are shot by poseur dweebs who just want to say they shoot a 10mm, and so they shoot weak loads which are just glorified .40 S&W. Other loadings like Buffalo Bore or Cor-Bon are very juicy, indeed. If you can handle .357 out of an L-frame, you can handle 10mm.

>>64829561>The more I look at the 4516, the more I want it over the 645. It has comfy proportions like the Glock 36 and the 645 is xbox huge.Yeah, I feel that. When I was a little younger, I liked full size pistols, but honestly the older I get I find I lean more towards compacts.Might be a hot take, but with full size guns, the only uses they have is the range, and as a truck gun- maybe hunting if you’re into that. But with compacts (especially single stack), they’re easy to conceal, and light. I have full size guns (for example my Glock 17), but I don’t see myself ever conceal carrying it.
>>64829601I was the same, and I think it's a simple skill issue. When I was a noob, I thought of smaller guns as compromises and I did start carrying with full size guns, but I just wasn't good enough at shooting yet to have complete confidence with a smaller gun. Today, the only time I carry a full size is when I'm hiking and I haven't bought a full size semi auto in 10 years.

That's why you can learn to do armorer level maintenance in 1 day with $100 of tools, and 90% of that is a sight pusher. The only reason people shit on something like the Gen 5 and 6 is because Glocks have been around 50 years. If Glocks never existed and the Gen 5 came out yesterday, it would be revolutionary because of its sheer elegance and modularity.Glocks got big because of marketing, and that was Gaston. But some of the greatest, most autismal Austro-German minds like Bubits worked on the Glock too and there is a reason that it stands the test of time and somehow, even with shit like the PDP Pro offering a 1mm trigger reset off a 3 pound break, people who don't even like Glocks say they shoot them the best. The Glock isn't the Camry of the gun world, it's the Tacoma.
>>64832941BASED
>>64833088I'd like to add that the 17 or 19 can be your HD guns, and the 26, 43x, or even 43. can serve as CCW guns.
>>64832645At this point people would eat shit on camera if they thought it would piss off anyone they think may be Trump supporters. Don't think too much into it bud.
>>64831781Its been an observable law that people which seethe about top brands or common use things like red dot are jelly noguns or narcissistic contrarians that get off on being different. I've yet to see get all pissy about dots or Berettas (Being mad about this one really outs you as a no life loser ffs they were popular here for a hot minute and that's it) or Ben Stoeger and post a gun afterwards.
>>64833311I don't mind carrying a glock but I shoot guns that actually point in the hand better. 1911s blow glock out of the water for target shooting in my experience.
>>64833088>I don't really see people glazing GlockDo you live under a rock? Glocks and 1911s (or I suppose now 2011s) have the biggest fanboys on the world. Glock's tagline is "Perfection", what do you mean they don't get glazed? Are you insane? People will avoid other guns for the simple reason that it won't take Glock mags. People jerk themselves raw to the newest generation of the black rectangle. Glock has been universally sucked off as a brand for 40 years now.
>>64833445>Glock's tagline is "Perfection", what do you mean they don't get glazed?NTA but the tagline has zero to do with getting "glazed" you can call yourself anything you want and still get shit on relentlessly. Most discourse I see on /k/ about Glock is shitting on them btw
>>64833487>Most discourse I see on /k/ about GlockThat's /k/ though. 4chan as a whole shits on everything popular.
Did other gun companies make cool commercials?https://youtu.be/vsVCHE7ayPE?si=maNvPT4h2f5Bpy5H
>>64833541>14 years agoHow accurate was that?
>>64833445This is completely anecdotal. Most of the young guys I know prefer Canik or Shadow Systems. Middle-aged guys I know prefer a whole plethora of different brands. The only Glocksuckers I know are dudes in their 70s and 80s. I certainly never see love for Glocks online on /k/ or YouTube comments. Also your lack of ability to differentiate between a marketing tagline and public opinion is telling
G Lock
>>64833606>Shadow Are they actually good?
Why are ammo prices spiking? I swear they've gone up 10% since December. Is it the riots? Also a bunch of places are charging a credit card fee now? Fuck off.
>>64833682Probably just the economy plus fallout of AAC closing.
>>64833648NTA but no.Everyone who likes them says "it's like a Glock but it comes with all the mods installed already!" They always have reliability and quality issues though. My favorite thing is how they advertise their trigger as "best in class" but it is total dogshit and easily the worst aftermarket Glock trigger somehow, worse than stock. Ben Stoeger has tried Shadow Systems like 5 times and every time the gun is shit, which is insane. They also look like riced out faggot shit.Canik looks like riced out faggot shit too but the guns are actually good.
>>64833683>Probably just the economyUh what? The economy has largely not changed in the past year, it has been slow. Ammo prices were stable for pretty much the entire year in 2025
>>64833682Shut up nigger I dont want to worry about buying more ammo
>>64833682>>64833689I just bought more ammo because of these posts.
ugh i want one of these turkshit M45 clones so bad
>>64833682The economy is fucked
>>64833688Uh huh. Whst do you think that does to costs? Number must go up.
>>64833716Like I said, it has been slow for the past year, almost completely unchanged.
>>64833725Are you retarded or just trying to get a rise out of me?>economy has been slow for the past year>ammo prices basically didn't change all of 2025>new year starts and they jump by 10% in a monthfuck off
>>64833728Someones retarded for sure.
>>64833732>durrrrrrrhurhuehruhudhurh fuck off dumb shit. Don't bother posting if you're not going to elaborate on why you think prices would suddenly spike instead of steadily grow all year because of "the economy". It's not the economy, there's a panic buy.
Buy ammo NOW Buy ammo you don't even needBuy ammo for you guns you don't have (yet)
>NO STOP TELLING ME 1+1=2 THATS NOT AN ACCEPTABLE ANSWER
>>64833728>dumb president kidnaps venezeualan presisent, semi-pretends to threaten to invade greenland, sends ICE to democratic cities to harass and terrorize browns>random tariffs on whoever was mean to him that weekmaybe had something to do with it.
>>64833746Ngl but this orange retard has been ass raping my wallet for an entire year now, at least he's going to drive housing prices up, so I'm not entirely fucked.
>>64833746There have been no new tariffs in the last couple of months. The tariff price increases have been a thing for the past 6-12 months, not january. Trust me, I have seen the tariff shit, I ordered a buttload of car parts this year and the tariffs mean I can no longer save money by ordering from japan.>blah blah venezuela meaningless. That was just a PR stunt, almost nothing has changed because of it.>ICE to democratic cities to harass and terrorize brownsnow you're getting to the panic buy territory
Lotta people ITT dont pay attention to the price hikes companies announced months ago.
>>64833763Greedy faggot companies
>go to order ammo using ammoseek>click cheapest (free shipping)>go to checkout>adds $30 in shipping insurance, tax, a fee for a fucking box Why are gun industry companies such shitheels?
I hope this guy gets shot by ice soon so I don’t have to listen to his retarded dribble
>>64833802>dribbleESL detected
>>64833783Because otherwise they wouldn’t make money selling at that price
>>64833802>calls someone else brown>says dribble instead of drivel like some retarded turdieoops
>>64833808Your trans gender studies degree paying off I see
>>64833817go away turdie, you aren't even allowed to have guns in your shithole
