Spent 1 year waiting for hrt to mildly change my appearance before trying girlmoding. I was still very awkward with my presentation until I figured things out at year 2. I think this was ideal for me. If I girlmoded as a 0 months hrt brick I would have broke. 1 year was maybe a little early if I was waiting to pass but I needed to start actually practicing presenting myself how I'd like. I'd reccomend to any tranner to do it this way

About 2 years, I didn't want to girlmode until completely finished with hair removal and had enough time on hrt that I was consistently malefailing and ready to do legal name change and all, the idea of that in between phase terrified me, wanted to skip it.

Technically I started girlmoding before HRT. My piece of shit country required you to “prove” you’re MtF by publicly honmoding for two years before they let you start HRT. Because real women get off on public humiliation or something I guess? So anyway I went to the lgb-friendly pub in drag twice, got some photos taken with some cis lesbian friends, and used those as proof.
