It's the overuse of thinning shears that makes it look fucked up. If they had just cut the ends with normal scissors it would have been fine. Thinning shears should be banned.

Never step foot in that salon again though jfc, find someone else or learn to cut it yourself (basic cuts and trims are fairly easy If you can make even cuts)
